Father, create in me a clean heart.  I need a steadfast spirit renewed in me.  Do not drive me away from your presence nor take your holy spirit from me.  Restore my joy in your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit.  I will teach the wicked your ways and sinners shall return to you.  Rescue me from death, O God, let my lips declare your healing power.  My mouth will shout your praise.  When I first realized how much you love me, it was such a delight to devote my life to you and your principles.  Love, deep love flowed from this new heart and life you gave to me.  Then came earthly experiences shaking the very foundation.  I lost myself in wayward living, willful disobedience, and confused thinkng.  Yet you still call to me and make me aware of your presence.  A Father calling his wayward daughter back home to the ancient paths.  I miss you.  All the mistakes I've made and bad habits that I'm a prisoner of drive me to yell rescue me.  Please rescue me.  I'm tired of obsessing about me and my little world when there are people who need to know you.  My life at this time is to testify of your saving, delivering, and healing power.  I've fallen so short, please raise me up.
