I was sure that the King James was the true one. Well, there are a lot
of theories, and many accounts (some are called fables, tales, myths
etc.) a few observations perhaps.
Ancient societies. . tribes- even before there were enough to call it a
city or a society: seem to have had great respect and awe for the
female: they carved talismans out of stone or bone.. perhaps wood too.
and they had women who were healers. and Matriarchal order.
somewhere along the line, someone (or- some 'ones') decided (and I am
speaking here of male gender) that they were tired of being in fear of
women, of having to listen to and do what women said: so, they wanted
to change it to a Patriarchal dominance.
and, I am thinking that this final push- came along somewhere around
the time of "Jesus". . because the Apostle Paul and Luke told the
stories of the worshippers of 'Diana' , and there was still the
Egyptian goddess Isis, (?correct on that one?), and Venus- to mention a
few.
try taking a seat on Neptune. . . or... Kolob: there is one for you.
Imagine Beings whose lives are vastly longer than those on Earth.
Kolob: a day = 1000 years on earth. If a being who lives on this vastly
larger planet, with a vastly longer life: were to come, and god forbid,
but- get Stuck here... like in "Back to the Future": waiting for fuels
to be discovered or parts to be made:... and finding one's own
existence changed by the physical perameters of time and space.. life
shortened: reincarnations..etc. take the lense, and look at ALL of the
stories... concider that every writer was Trying to be honest: trying
to describe what they saw...see what you come up with at that.
american native (indian) culture tells tales of "Star People" (and they
still have more respect for female than the dominating cultures: and
still are being pounded for that.)
and the unsettling straw on the King James was to learn that the
scriptures the translators were working with were re-written about 400
years after Jesus 'died'.. by Catholics, who subsequently Burned all of
the original manuscripts. A story can change in a twinkling of an eye:
in the nervous heart beat of a guilty man: so, we are pretty well left
to our own to decide what we want to believe.
