Zayda's tags:
Some of you may remember that a few weeks ago I wrote a few weeks ago about the little man catching a softball with his cheekbone.

In the comments to that post, I had promised to post follow-up pictures of the black eye the next day.

Well, our lives go busy, and I just now managed to download the pictures off the camera.

So here they are, pictures of the black eye...make that purple...the next day.

Would never mean to make light of an accident,  but that second photo is kind of cute..he does look mighty proud of his war injury.

LOL. Wombie: Indeed, he was proud of his war injury.

The little man has every right to be proud of his war wound!  Thats a very colorful spectacle.  Until now I didnt realize how much his eyes are like yours.  He's a looker just like his mom.

Botty: Yep, he's my cutie pie. His eyes are like mine in their expression, but the color is more that of his dad's. They look particularly brown here, but are really hazel--brown hazel. Mine are greener.

Hooo! that's a beauty!  I bet that shiner paved the way for a whole lot of ice cream and positive attention. ;)

He is very adorable - and he does look kind of proud of his shiner - great that you have a picture so he can reminisce when he's older.

Silver: Thanks. I love that smile too. :)

Wish: Thanks. He uses that "adorable" for all it's worth some days. Somehow he thinks it gets him out of trouble.

ouch!!! by the way little man is getting more handsome as he grows... =)

QP: Yeah, ouch. We knew he took a hard hit when his cheek bone immediately turned blue. He still has a darker mark on it where he got hit with the softball. I think it may be discolored there permanently.

And thanks. He takes after his dad. :)
