Dan took Olia and Dasha to "train watch" with his brother yesterday.  The girls had a great time.  Then they went to Dan's father's house and slept overnight.  Dan took them to the dollar store and they each picked out three identical items; a notebook, a pack of pens, and stickers.  Those items kept them busy in the car and at Dan's father's house. I met them at the dentist because Dasha still needs more dental work.  Olia was really happy to see me when I got there and she told me that she had really missed me!  The dentist has a Play Station 2 in his waiting room.  Olia wanted me to play the video game with her, it was a race car game.  I tried to play, but I kept hitting the wall and flipping the car over!  Dasha came out and started giggling when she saw how bad I was at video games!  After the dentist, we stopped at McDonald's and got take-out because it was late and the girls were really hungry!  My friend Amy was planning to come over and visit and see Olia and meet Dasha when we got home.  I told Olia to tell Dasha that my friend Amy was coming over to meet her.  Olia said...."Amy is my friend too."  So she told Dasha that our friend was coming to visit.  We had a lot of fun when Amy came over.  The girls were really excited because Amy had her bathing suit on and told them she would swim with them after a little while! Unfortunately, it started to rain so she never did get to swim with them. 

   Dan, Olia and Dasha then packed up the car to go camping.  I have to stay home because I have to go to work tomorrow. (I guess Olia didn't miss me too much because she was ready to leave me again after a few hours!) The girls were really excited and happily helped pack the car.  Dasha asked me if I was going with them and I said no.  She asked why and I  had to get out the translation book and show her the words "work, teacher."  Then she understood. Olia LOVES camping and was really happy to go with Dan and Dasha.  Olia's new friend, who she met at the graduation party over the weekend, called her to play, but she told her that they were leaving for camping.  Her new friend is going to come over and play on Thursday because I am off from work.  Lena, our original English tutor, is also going to come over and visit Olia and Dasha on Thursday evening.

   Dasha's friend from her orphanage called today.  The girls happily chatted back and forth for about an hour. I could understand a few words and Dasha was telling her friend all the things she had been doing.  The family who is hosting her friend is planning to adopt her.  They said that she is really happy in the U.S. and wanted to share her excitement with Dasha.  She called again later in the day, but Dasha didn't want to get out of the pool to chat.
