I am continuing with the idea of finding my purpose while reading the Purpose Driven Life. It is actually a wonderful book if you haven't read it yet I highly suggest that everyone reads it. So back to questions that are at the end of chapters.
How should the fact that life on earth is just a temporary assignment change the way I am living right now?
It should make me want to live my life as if it was the last day on earth. I should be trying to learn what I can do to have life in eternity that God wants me to have. I should learn more about God, and His desires and live my life more for Him.
Where in my daily routine can I become more aware of God's glory?
I can become more aware of God's glory when I am online or watching television. Or even when I wake up in the morning. When I go for walks and am outside I feel God's glory and beauty all around.
What common task could I start doing as if I were doing it directly for Jesus?
A common task I could start doing as if I were doing it directly for Jesus is being online. I already am working on making my daily activities online to be for Jesus with my blog www.wayofhope.net, but I could do more.
Since God knows what is best, in what areas of my life do I need to trust him most?
I need to trust God more with my finances. I am so worried about my student loans and I should just sit back and trust that God will help me not drown in them.
What area of my life am I holding back from God?
Wow that is a hard question. I guess a lot of aspects of my life. I am not reading my Bible as often as I should. I don't pray too much. I definitely try to get my finances on track without trusting God. I think it would be hard to hold back from God when he knows everything that happens.
