I've been seeing an ad on TV lately about a movie called 2.37. It seemed quite obscure and rather quickly gained my attention. So I did some searching and found out that it was an indie film that includes a rather prolonged suicide scene. I'm sorry but this seems to be a ridiculous subject for a film. I'm not saying that suicide should be ignored, but seriously, does it really need to be captured on film. I guess thats why we have an option not to see it, but admittedly at first even I was interested in the film, it makes me wonder how many people will go and see something that looks interesting without actually investigating it's content.
