thank you for sharing this. I wonder at Skald: able to knit an entire sweater in one color!! that is something that I have not done, nor do I think I could. Some day, when I figure out the posting of pictures thing here, I would like to put up some shots of the socks and sweaters made by me... just cause I think it would give you all a pretty good laugh. I find that socks take 8 to 12 hours each.. sweaters take much longer. but, I use fairly small needles ... kids say I am a fast knitter.. do not know.. but, one would have a hard time to pay rent by selling hand made sweaters these days.
looking at you, Skald: I imagine if I ever went to Sweden (mom's mom from there) or even Iceland: would fit in pretty well. thanks for sharing this.
