  CB, I saw the original post and I gotta say, even though it was posed as a question, it contained comments or quotes that were in poor taste.  Even if they were not your comments it is my feeling that if you put them on the web or out in public you should expect some harsh words.  That is why I did not comment.
   
  I'm sorry your feelings were hurt, but perhaps you can take away the lesson that words of hatred that are put forth for discussion will almost certainly result in someone getting hurt.

  I am sorry your feelings are hurt. I do not know what blog you had up with bad stuff on it, but I do know it is easy to feel the pinch if someone you like is critical or mean. Hang in there. People love ya!! me too!!

  I just now went back and re-read the post in question, and I can see by my leading off with offensive remarks, sparked some of the dialogue that ensued, so I am editing that post and re-posting it.

  There was only one person who I thought their remarks were unacceptable, and I am deleting his. All of the rest went in line with the text.

  I really don't see how anybody could not understand racism when it's such an ingrained part of who we are.  I have a difficult time grasping hatred myself, but I have an equally difficult time grasping love in the way that most people seem to define it
