I ask a lot of people to name one thing Obama has accomplished in the Senate, name one thing that qualifies him to be President. Once these things are established match them up with this environment in the Middle East. The Iran situation, the Israel/Palistine thing, North Korea, this list is endless of things that are way out of his league.
I would be curious to see how a Democrat would fight Radical Islam, since they have condemned virtually every tool the Republicans have used.
List of bills sponsored by Barack Obama in the United States Senate is a compilation of legislation advocated by United States Senator Barack Obama in the 109th United States Congress and the 110th United States Congress. The bills offer a way to review the political positions of Barack Obama, who is a candidate and the presumptive nominee[1] of the Democratic Party in the 2008 U.S. Presidential election.
//Obama has been described to have "sponsored 131 bills since Jan 4, 2005," of which 90% (118 bills) remain in committee (Average) and 2% (2 bills) have been enacted into law (Average, relative to peers).[2]
Dyingman- You posted this massive list of garbage thinking that I haven't seen it or assumed I wouldn't actually go and look at it. You'll notice above I copied the portion you left out. Notice how it says compilation of bills advocated by Obama, and then it says 90% are still in committee.
I'll assume you are an Obama fan, instead of trying to piss me off, give me a logical reason as to why someone who has probably spent more time in diapers than in the Senate is qualified to run this country, right now, here in history.
"I think it's been clear that change means taking down terror cells, finding Osama Bin Laden (Bush says he doesn't care about him any more. Funny, I still do.) and not invading countries unconnected to 9/11 no matter how much Dick Cheney wants them to be."
Obama is a bleeding heart Liberal, he is going to be as effective as Clinton in fighting terrorists around the world. 9/11 was in 2001, Iraq was in 2003, you guys constantly try to make that connection with Conservatives when Democrats pushed for an Iraq invasion, saw the same evidence, and voted for the same authorization. Obama voted not to go into Iraq, which speaks volumes. Taking Saddam out was the right thing to do. And why do you guys constantly drone on about bin Laden the infidel while being completely silent about the 3,000 other Al Qaeda scumbags we have taken down. We have set the Al Qaeda organization back decades.
"It's a LOT to read and I understand it's hard work for folks that question none of what they're told by talk radio, but just in case you decide ignorance hurts:"
You my friend are what is known a liberal pinhead, instead of actually saying what is on your fucking mind you make false assumptions about what a person reads or how intelligent they may me, typical. Or maybe you are another Sheltercrow, one of his alteregos.
So say what is on your mind, give me a logical reason to vote for Obama.
9/11 being in 2001 has nothing to do with anything you can't blame it on Bush nor on Clinton.
Him voting against the Iraq war speaks volumes about him? Does it mean he had the same foresight as Bush I who knew that removing Saddam would create a power vacuum? What we're experiencing here isn't even the worst case scenario. We should have finished Afghanistan in it's entirety before messing with Saddam, he'd MOSTLY behaved for the last decade and we knew he couldn't hurt us and it was doubtful that he could hurt Isreal.
I agree he needed to be taken down. I think Clinton should have taken him down in 98 the first time he kicked out inspectors. Since that didn't happen and 9/11 did we should have waited.
Sean-there is this liberal notion of we were rushed off to war after 9/11 or we went to war because of the some connection when if this were at all true we wouldn't have waited 2 years.
We could not begin to try to fight any kind of terrorism with Saddam in power and I've said a zillion times Saddam wasn't the major threat, Saddam handing his weapons over to terrorists was the greatest threat. The UN put their hands on and logged in tons of VX gas, then Saddam says he destroyed them with no proof or anything, where did it all go? That is scary to me.
I have always held we should have taken Saddam out during HW Bush.
It is also documented that even though bin Laden detested Saddam he still met with Iraqi scientists in his search for chemical/nuclear weapons. A lot of the pinheads here on Soulcast (not you Sean) seem to believe everything that comes out of the extremist left but when one points out Jaynadavis.com they cry this must be a conspiracy theory. This woman is a former NBC reporter during the Oaklahoma bombing and can link Saddam and/or one of his men to the bombing.
