Having the European Focus produced and sold in American soil is part of the company’s plan of limiting its current line-up of vehicles to fuel-efficient vehicles. And given the continuous increase in the price of oil, I couldn’t agree with Ford more. Because of this move, Ford will not only be able to entice people to buy its fuel-efficient Focus, it will also be able to save more money since it didn’t have to spend to create a different model for its U.S. market. Instead, Ford just made use of the current look of one of its best-selling models. Aside from the European Focus, Ford has also hinted plans of selling the Ford Fiesta subcompact car in the U.S. by 2010.
So if you’re one of those who’ve been dying to get their hands on the European Focus, here’s your chance. Just try not to be too aggressive and knock people out to get one of these. With its popularity, Ford is bound to create a truckload of this car for commercial use so you won’t have to worry about the cars going out-of-stock.
