I love small towns. They are the best.
When my cousin from Albuquerque, NM came to visit he was shocked at the price of a beer at the bar. He kept buying all of us drinks because they were so cheap...
Of course being from a small town i think $2.25 for a budweiser and $3.50 for a mixed drink is robbery.
However he claims you cant get a beer for less than $5.00 and a mixed drink for less than $10.00...Im sure he is exagerating to some extent so he could better make his point.
However liquer and beer is 1/5 of the cost at a bar in a small town than it is in a large one.
Soooo....Im gonna call my cousin and tell him that tonight is $00.25 draft night at my friend's bar! hahaha hes gonna die.
Yup its true, all night tonight all draft beer is a quarter a glass...all of it.
Suposedly this is gonna happen every friday from now at "The Office" bar.
I asked Mike (the owner) how he could possible make money off of that.
He wouldnt tell me how much the actual beer cost him but he says hell make a killing if there is a big enough turn out.
On top of that the way he figures it is that people come in groups and there are always the picky people who dont like draft and wont drink it but came with their friend...
