Pretty simple.....If I were president, I would suggest that the states allow gay marriage, and then we would tax the couple at the rate of 50% on their income.....all of the tax above the standard rate could go directly to aids research, prevention, and education.
Wouldn't that be fair? I mean look at the tax on cigarette smokers, and supposedly that money is spent to combat the consequences of smoking. So why not apply the same dosage of liberalism to gay marriage?

Marriage my a**. I know a couple who are in their 40s. One is on his third life mate that I know of, and the present relationship is starting to get iffy. I do not know how many relationships the other mate has had. So most likely the one mate would be on a third marriage with the prospect of being out of that one soon. Homosexualism is based on sexual preference. You are a homo because of the way you like to indulge in sexual perversion. That is not a winning situation to base a marriage on. Typically, once married, sex slows down and eventuall comes to a skreetching halt. In the case of a gay marriage, you would just be two guys living together. Get a roommate and save yourself a lot of legal crapola. If man / woman marriage was base on sex, they could probably do away with that type of marriage, too.

I want D6fer's comment on gay parades. Do you know that the suicide rate among gay americans is Higher then anyother population. Yes bush and everyone is right we are only like .05 percent of the population. That would mean Isolation is greater in our community then anyother community. A parade is not only to let people know this is who we are and what we are. But its to let that little someone who is not a part of our community that they are not alone. They don't have to be isolated. Plus to let the ones who familys who have disowned thier kids and loved ones. That there is love out there. That ignorance to one whole being and hatered towords that person, that its not thier fault. -
