  Well, women don't always tell men what they want or what the problem is because they don't think men are going to understand them anyway.  Usually, women only understand women. Or at least, that is what we think sometimes.

  So, for a woman, when it comes to being upfront, direct and honest, those concepts take a backseat to the strategy of putting herself in the best possible light by any means possible. Lying is a no brainer. Women are constantly trying to figure out what you are thinking 10 steps before you think it, so they can cater themselves to what they think you will want. Unfortunately, this strategy has very little room for truth.

  i'm a woman, and i've been guilty of this in the past...and for me it was wanting the guy to prove to me how much he cared about me by taking the time to figure out what it was i wanted.

  Its about how well you listen, if any person male or female knows their partner doesn't listen then it doesn't exactly encourage honesty, however if both partners are good listeners then honesty will win the day.  This works for friends, colleagues as well as acquaintances or newly made friends.

  most women I know are programmed to attract the best provider they can. Their arsenal is complex, from make up, new hairstyles to boob-jobs, botox and lipo. All these enhancements are based on lies. Women are constantly trying to hide their imperfections through deception in order to attract the best mate/provider.

  I don't mind saying what I want and when I want it and how I want it, but getting him to do more than that deer in the headlights look, is where the challenge is.  I can tell him what's wrong but he says what he always says, "It'll be ok."  That is his standard answer.  There is nothing wrong with it but I don't think he really even knows that it is a knee jerk response from him.
   
  Then if he is bugged about something, it is like trying to pull teeth.  He will start to tell me in mid sentence he will just stop talking and stare off into space. I have to play 100 questions before I get it pinpointed.
   
  I am like you, if you got something to say or want something, don't beat around the bush, just say it!

  I hate anons, but to be fair he's not speaking poorly about women.  He's merely acknowledgint the way they are wired.  Same reason guys like "sexy" women it's because they will produce healthy young.  Wide child bearing hips=great ass.  Ever notice in those is this boobs or but pictures how hard it is to tell T from A?  That's not an evolutionary mistake, it's just another visual reminder.

  I think women should be more forthright.  I think sometimes women aren't because as little girls we're told to "be nice".  We're taught not to make a fuss and that being aggressive is unattractive. 

  Of course, now days that's been tempered a little more since we expect our daughters to take care of themselves.  But, until the remnants of the "old days" have passed away we will struggle with asking for what we want.

  Also, add to the mix, sometimes both men and women want their significant other to want to do something or give them something.  Not simply comply with a request, which doesn't involve the other person to consider what might make them happy.

  Ive never had a problem telling a man when they are fucking everything up...lol...if im mad they will know exactly why.  If they dont know how to fix it then they are stupid and need to step out of the box.  This goes for women that actually get upset about real things, not the "oh u didnt notice my 1/8'' trim so that means u dont love me"....
