It happens to me all the time.
Before my Grandmother passed away we had a talk the night before she went in for an operation. You have to understand that we were closer than close. Best friends in a sweet way...I could and would tell her anything. Anyway, we always spoke on the phone, daily. I asked her in the conversation if she would still call me if (God forbid) anything were to happen to her during surgery.
Her operation went well, but sadly she ended up suffering a stroke not long after and passed away while we were in Hawaii on our honeymoon.
When I was alone the phone would ring and the caller id said "ERROR" and when I picked it up, it was "white noise." My Sisters would be over a lot and she finally started calling if they were there.
I was pregnant and home alone a lot at night while Mr. Daily went to hockey. I was terrified after a while. I had to ask her to stop only because she was scaring me. After that ...nothing. We had the phone company come out and they couldn't find anything wrong. We changed phones. We did everything and it would still happen.
I recently stated on E_T's blog how I missed it in a way. I expressed that to Mr. Daily too. Guess what...now the phone lights up and does nothing. Phone company's come out, nothing wrong. Changed phones, still happens.
I don't know what to think about it, I just say (and everyone else in the family has agreed) that it's my Grandmother calling.
I have a lot of other strange things that happen. This one is one that I will never let go of. The newest thing is a maple syrup scent. It's not like just the smell, but it is so strong it almost burns my nose. I don't even like that stuff!

Fallyn: Mr. Daily's Dad, but I didn't know it. Mr. Daily had to tell me. He passed away when I was pregnant with Little D. I don't know what to make of it though.
Years ago I saw a medium that told me my Grandmother (on my Mom's side, my other Grandmother was still living) was playing the piano for me. Well, when we were looking for houses, this house had a piano in it. Not only that, but the sellers were leaving it. Out of all the houses we looked at, we picked this one. No idea why the sellers accepted our offer. They had higher offers! Now I want to get rid of the very old piano (it's HUGE) but I'm so afraid to!

Just a P.S. to my Grandmother calling.
When we were on the beach, we were out on a sand bar and I found change. Just sitting there. I looked at Mr. Daily and said at that VERY moment "I think my Grandmother died." Also, our last dance was a Hawaiian song and we didn't hear it the ENTIRE time we were in Hawaii until the day we left, several times. The most striking moment we heard it was at the airport. I told Mr. Daily I had to call home and see what "they" would tell me about Grams. They scooted around it and some way I didn't re-ask the question. It's so hard to explain. They never told me when she passed while we were gone. I learned when my Sister picked us up from the airport and told me she passed and that we had to go to the wake. Mr. Daily was getting our luggage and I literally fell out of the car and just started screaming. You see, I KNEW, but I didn't know. I wasn't expecting to have to see her the last time at that moment.
