There is an urban legend that someone stuffed a tube with gerbil in it up their rear and it was suppose to be some form of masturbation.  Rumors circled that Richard Gere had tried this.

Today at work we somehow got into a discussion about this and came out with more questions than when we started.

#1-Do they sanitize the gerbil before it goes in and how does this process work?  Are we talking hand sanitizer or a bath.

#2-How do they know the gerbil will actually come out of the tube?  Put yourself in the gerbil's position, yikes.

#3-How do they evacuate if the gerbil gets nervous or panics and starts clawing?

#4-After the gerbil comes out is he re-used and if so is he then sanitized or bathed?  I hopes so.

The gerbil scenario has come up on South Park and JoeCartoon so I wonder, is there any truth surrounding this myth?
