i'm calm, and under control.
the thought just keeps running through my head....no matter what happens it will be okay.
i won't know the decision today most likely....it will probably be a week or two.
but i should at least get a picture of a likely outcome.
whatever happens it will be okay.
anyway, wish me luck....i'll post back here afterwards.
oh...for anyone that didn't know..... there is a hearing today because my ex thinks i'm doing a terrible job with the kids because they have missed a lot of school and have been sick a lot.
he's trying to get them back with him 4 states away.

I will wish you luck and keep my fingers crossed.
Hopefully any thinking judge will know that unless your ex has super healing powers that sick kids are a part of normal life.

his argument is that they weren't sick while HE had them.
anyway, i was at the court house and my lawyer told me the wrong docket.....so i'm not until 1:30. so still a few hours to wait.
i HATE the waiting part. i just want this over with no matter what the outcome.

Unless he can prove neglect I think it's going to be an uphill battle. Are they doing okay with their school work and grades? -

oldest is ending the year with a B.
and middle is being passed into first grade......she's a bit behind on her writing skills.
everyone i have talked to...including myself....have been really surprised at the requirements that kindergarteners have to pass. ....they have to be READING by the end.
i remember kindergarten! we learned our colors and had naps and played outside and played with blocks and clay!

we won.
his petition was flat out denied.
the judge basically told him he was an idiot.
right at the top of the trial statement is says "the court finds that the father has been a perpetrator of domestic violence"
that played a big part in his decision this time around
