I’M SICK OF HEARING OF PEOPLE DYING OF CANCER

And I’m pissed because we’ve been duped by our money-oriented society nowadays to think that if we can just throw enough money at a problem, it will go away.
A good example is the cancer foundation type scams. Raising money is not the path to curing cancer. It sounds good to us because we think money is the answer to every problem. If it were, why not start an Asshole foundation and raise enough money one day to cure certain people from being assholes.
Money is not the answer.
Cancer is not even the problem. Cancer is only a result of the real problem; the way I understand it, the cancer cells are mutated because of a poison of one kind or another in our body. Usually a poison that takes repeated exposure to have an effect. So habitual, repeated poisoning of or bodies is the real problem.
How is raising money going to make us stop poisoning our bodies?

The Cancer Foundation raises funds to pay for research to help try to fight and one day cure cancer. My mom had breast cancer twice. It was not caused by repeated exposure to something. Yes, some are. Lung cancer can be the result of smoking and a few other things. Skin cancer is, a lot of times, the result of too much time in the sun. But not all cancers are caused by something preventable. People are not just throwing money at it to hope it will go away. The money is raised so that people can research the many different cancers and maybe one day they will find a cure. Without the research they have done so far, there wouldn't even be treatments for cancer. Without the funds that the Cancer Foundations have raised to fund research that brought about the different types of treatments there are, my mom would be dead. I feel that you have not looked into this fully. I also feel that you have never had anyone that you know suffer from cancer or die from cancer. I have. As I said, my mom had breast cancer twice. My grandfather died of liver cancer. I politely suggest that you go to www.cancer.org and educate yourself.

well I can see I really pissed you off. At least if your pissed off you know your still alive. yes i have had friends and family suffer and die from various forms of cancer. that's why I'm so angry. but i get just as angry when i hear of someone i don't know. I'ts like we're all getting desensitiezed to cancer related death. we expect it even though we don't say so. I'm sorry for your loss, of course, but I don't think you really read me.I tried to read you but I didn't understand a word you said other that i should educate myself and I agree. that's is my point. we need to all educate ourselves beyond accepting the same old stale worn out info. we need to make new information or uncover some old useful information. If only we could become educated from one, narrow-focused website the world would be a better place for it but you can't and it's not. I perused dozens of websites and books and people on this topic. and i'm still sick of people dying of cancer. I know of people that have cured themselves without doctors. without cutting parts of themselves away. dammit, i'm not judging individuals here, i'm just sick of people dying form cancer. can we try something else? I don't have all the answers but neither does cancer.org. that's my point. I appreciate your comment but I don't think you understood me. by the way, that word politely, you keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

I apologize if I misunderstood what you trying to say. It's a bit of a touchy subject for me. I agree that doctors need to try another approach. I also agree that there needs to be much more information out there on cancer. My mom was tested for a gene that can cause breast cancer to be hereditary. Luckily, she didn't have it. Not all cancers can be cured though. If it had been a gene she had, then my sister, my daughters, and myself would have been at a much greater risk of having breast cancer ourselves. Sometimes, the only way to get rid of the cancer is to remove it and hope that it doesn't come back. This is why I feel the funding is so important. They can't study cancer and find ways to help without the research that funds go towards. I don't know of anyone who has cured themselves of cancer, especially not without a doctor. That seems sort of dangerous to me.

here's a little tidbit I found just now. I began a gruelling five-month course of chemotherapy that made all my hair fall out. My son David was just nine, and the first time he saw me in a wig, he cried, "Where's my mummy gone?" It all seemed worth it, though, when a test revealed that the chemotherapy had worked and the cancer had gone. But five months later, just as my hair was beginning to grow back, I got a call from my doctor telling me it had returned and was spreading rapidly. Again, I didn't want to know whether I was going to die, but one day I accidentally found out what the doctors were thinking. I'd been forced to give up my job as a piano teacher and was speaking to my GP about how difficult it was to claim benefits. "It would make it easier if I wrote a letter explaining you are terminally ill," he told me. I looked him in the eye and said: "Let's not go there. I'm not ready for that yet." It seemed the only option was yet more chemotherapy, but I really couldn't face the thought of it. Then one day a friend told me about the Hallelujah Diet. The idea behind it is that you detox your body, then flood it with nutrients by drinking organic juices and eating raw vegetables. The aim is to build the immune system to such an extent that it alone sorts out the problems. The routine consisted of 80 per cent raw vegetables and lots of juices - mostly carrot juice. Anything processed was totally off limits. I'd always broken every diet I'd ever tried within 24 hours, but I figured this had to be better than chemotherapy. At my next meeting with my oncologist I explained what I wanted to do and begged her to let me try it out for a month. I was amazed when she agreed. That evening I headed to Tesco and bought up almost the entire organic fruit and veg section, including every carrot they had. The checkout girl could hardly believe her eyes. But for the first couple of days on the regime I felt so nauseous I days on the regime I felt so nauseous I couldn't move off the sofa. FOR lunch I had to eat a raw broccoli salad - just the mere thought of it made me feel sick. But I stuck with it and by day 10 I was feeling a lot better. And by day 14 I felt great. A couple of weeks into the diet I had a blood test to measure the cancerous activity in my body. The doctors were as amazed as I was to find it had decreased significantly. After four weeks I felt better than I ever had. I was full of energy and my skin looked amazing - apart from the fact that it had an orange tinge to it from all the carrot juice. My consultant couldn't really explain why my cancer levels had fallen, but she gave me another month to see if the diet continued to work. Amazingly, it did, and from then on my cancer levels continued to decrease and then eventually stabilised. My hair grew back and I lost weight. I looked and felt so great that I almost forgot I was dealing with cancer. After two years I gradually started eating more normal foods. Then one day I received some bad news. My cancer levels were rising again - and rapidly. I now had a lot of faith in complementary therapies, so I did some more research and found out about the Oasis Of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, which is run by Dr Francisco Contreras. They offered a radical new treatment programme. My husband Malcolm and I didn't have the £10,000 I needed for the air fares and three weeks of therapy, so Malcolm entered the London Marathon to raise it. Our friends were all generous and finally I arrived in Tijuana. At first I was horrified by the poverty and shanty towns and the hospital itself looked dated. But I knew I had to give this a go. I was hooked up to a machine and given mega-doses of vitamins in my veins. I also had shark cartilage enemas, along with colonic irrigation and blood irradiation, where blood is pumped out, passed through an ultraviolet light, mixed with ozone, and pumped back in. I was also kept on a strict diet of organic raw food. After 18 days I returned to the UK and was shocked to discover my cancer levels were higher than before I'd left. But apparently this was expected, and three months later they fell again. Within about six months they were so low they were classed as normal. It meant I was finally in remission. It seemed almost unbelievable, but something had worked! IT'S now five years since I was originally diagnosed and I'm still in remission. I still take regular carrot and green juices, have occasional shark cartilage enemas, and I inject vitamin B17 into my muscles three times a week, and feel really well. My consultant and medical team have been amazed by my progress. A lot of people have asked me whether I'd recommend other people to follow the same course of treatment I have. I always reply that people have to make their own decision. All I know is that five years ago doctors thought I was staring death in the face but I'm still here and feeling great. That's got to be worth eating any amount of carrots. DAWN'S GP, Dr Tony Watson of Hilltop Medical Centre in Milton Keynes, says: "I was amazed at Dawn's recovery. When she went to the Oasis Of Hope Hospital her markers were rising, which indicated the cancer was active again. But together with a combination of different therapies using natural products and vitamin supplementation, her markers came back to normal again. "She is an amazingly strong individual who had a belief that she was going to get better and I think that belief has helped in her recovery. I can confirm she is now in remission." end of tidbit I thinks it's encouraging. but ultimately people have to make their own minds up.

here's another one from healthy.net I got these two when I just now typed in "I cured my cancer" as a search line in google. I hope that these can be digested with an open mind and the understanding that no one is judging or attacking anyone. hopefully good things can come out of it. I am a 51-year-old woman diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) 10 months ago. I was told that some cells had become invasive and that - worst of all - there was no treatment option other than mastectomy, a drug regimen including tamoxifen and, possibly, radiation treatment as well. After dealing with the initial shock and distress - and with the support of my husband - I decided to forego these drastic treatments. I could not contemplate losing my breast; my instincts told me it was the wrong method of treatment, and the survival statistics were less than encouraging. Looking for alternative options, I conducted researches online. Lo and behold, I learned that, far from being a ‘feel-good factor’ to supplement the ‘real’ treatments via orthodox medicine, metabolic therapy has achieved significant success where it really matters: in actual patient case studies. I also discovered that, like me, many doctors had turned away from conventional medicine in the treatment of cancer. Six weeks later, I consulted a private doctor with training in nutrition. She recommended a healthful diet based mainly on fresh fish, raw fruit and vegetables, soy products and herbal/green teas instead of beef, dairy produce, sugar, caffeinated beverages and alcohol. I supplemented this with concentrated vitamin and mineral supplements, flaxseed oil, garlic, fresh herbs, olive oil, apricot kernels and tablets of amygdalin. Because of this diet, I now feel fit and well, with more vitality than I’ve had in years. Most importantly, my last two blood tests and a thermograph were normal. As an added bonus, some long-standing ailments such as asthma, digestive problems and back pain (all of which I used to take medication for) have cleared up, too. This gives me all the more reason to wonder why the medical profession continues to advocate radiation, chemotherapy and surgery for treating cancer when it has not made any real headway into improving statistics for the past 50 years. I do hope that others will read of my experience and be heartened to know that there are successful alternative treatment options for this distressing disease. - Susan Insole, via e-mail WDDTY replies: For more information on alternative cancer treatments, sign up for Mind Over Cancer, our conference on 15-16 October, featuring the latest evidence for mind-body cancer treatments.

    Hello drifter,

I completely agree with you on your views of the management and treatment of cancer these days.  I think that those who promote and approve of the war on cancer as it currently stands are bound by mass media delusions created by the pharmaceutical industry. They have a hard time being educated because they are brainwashed. I am sorry to sound so harsh but it is the conclusion I have come to after 30 years of examining this situation.

Obviously your selection of the Oasis of Hope hospital was excellent.

I am associated with a blog that tries to educate people on alternative cancer therapy. I would like it very much if you posted your story at www.HealthSalon.org  (this is an educational site only -no product sales) You can sign on through the logout button and actually enter a full page of its own (be sure to click on Cancer thread so your post will go there) or you can put oasis hospital in the search button and just enter your story as a comment under the Oasis posts that come up. We need more people telling their story.
I hope you can find the time to do this.

Also when you are visiting healthsalon take a look at the MMS Testimonials thread and also visit www.miraclemineral.org    Malaria is now being cured with this mineral as well as other disease with a microbe origin. You will find a ton of info at healthsalon on this new development.

It is clear to me that cancer is caused by a microbe and I was not surprised to hear that at oasis they did uvb and ozone treatment, two of the most powerful systems of eliminating microbes there is!  On this site you will also find links to websites that teach about cancer being related to fungal infection, and the amazing cures being done by Dr Simoncini, an oncologist from Italy who treats caner as a fungal infection. He has  videos of his cure of a broncial cancer case at his site.

Personally, I would not give one red cent to any pharmaceutically backed cancer foundation. The conclusion I have come to is that if a cure can not rob you of your every dime they really have no interest in exploring it or providing it to the public.

Hi Drifter, I cured my cancer. From the testimonials that you posted I see that good nutrition, especially certain fruit and vegetables is important. In my case I was just plain lucky. See "How to cure cancer with ginger" at this web page. http://www.geocities.com/cure.cancer/how_to_cure_cancer_with_ginger.html

My grandpa died when he was 93, and my other granpa is 80+ and still alive... Their secrets? They live(d) in the country and they only eat (ate) natural stuff. My grandpa (the one that died at 93 and was healthy as a horse) always refused to eat canned stuff or drink sodas, he used to say that those were dead embalmed :P Sodas for example are nothing more than chemicals, and all of the canned food and many other stuff has TONS of preservatives... So no, it's not that "we can find cancer much better now with out technology", it's not the "we all have it genetic" crap... It's the "food" that is killing us... But of course, noone will tell you so because the big HUNGRY companies need to take your money you can buy their carcinogen filled pseudo-food. So yes, you can do something to try to at least prevent it.

God, anonymous, may 16, you've been brainwashed. Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Carcinogen-filled pseudo-food? Ha ha ha. My god, what do you sound like? Where have you heard that expression? Surely you didn't think of that one all by yourself did you? More ignorant food-fascists. Organic is better and all that. You are really the one who should be scorned. Take your average loaf of organic bread: yeast, flour, water and salt. No preservatives, no additives - less ingredients, wouldn't you say, than your average loaf of pseudo-bread? Then why does it cost £2 more? Because it's a scam. You are a product of the big, hungry, organic companies. Oooooooh dear. You've been had. Preservatives - scary names and numbers: E300, calcium propionate. Very scary, but do you even know what they are? E300 is vitamin C and i think you'll agree that's an important one (it has been found to slow cancer growth), and calcium propionate is a mould inhibitor. The latter allows you to open a loaf of bread on monday and still be eating it on friday, which means that these big hungry companies can work to an efficient economy of scale. With chemicals and the use of GM, people in the poorest regions on the planet can be fed, kept alive. And your argument for organic food is...? There's not one, it's just an arrogant, biggoted assumption that you are right and that anyone who eats pseudo-food (smirk) is thick and poor. Try this: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090729/thl-organic-food-benefits-downplayed-d831572.html

Dear Drifter, I think every comment here has some truth. Cancer genes are in charge of growth control. We need them to make our bodies grow properly. So for now we are stuck with cancer. Soon genetic engineering will fix that. We are fortunate that there are some cures available now such as ginger that people can use even if cancer foundations will not fund research on them. http://sites.google.com/site/howtocureyourself/home/how-to-cure-cancer-with-ginger
