I got to talk to Todd today. His operation was yesterday. It took 11 or 12 hours to perform! can y ou believe that he was under anstesia (sp) for that long! But obviously I didn't get to talk to him then, so I did this morning.
The operation was a success and his heart rate is what it is supposed to be. He feels good except he is a little stiff and his arms hurt from the way they had him positioned. When I talked to him he wasn't sure when he could come home because they still wanted to do an MRI to make sure all worked well and today they couldn't do it because his arms hurt too much, so maybe tomorrow.
I can't wait til he comes home, I just want to hug him. It was different when my brother had heart problems. Granted I was worried and scared, but I just knew he would be okay and pacemaker operation wasn't as dangerous as the pulminary ablation. With Todd I was so scared, I told my mom I finally understood what my brother's heart problems did to her. Thankfully his was easily fixed with a pacemaker while Todd's wasn't, but it's fixed I'm happy. I can have my b/f back soon WOOHOO
