Go do some research on incest in Asian countries Star, what is being presented is in fact glorified in Japan to the point of opening clubs that cater exclusively to incest relationships and in fact preform live incestuous shows, mostly Mother Son, from all that I have read.
It is not as you indicated above as being racist although how that poster stated it was direct and to the point, it would strike as racist as we define racist here in America, in those countries, its not racist, but part of the culture and has been for centuries, all males are superior to all females, females exist to serve all males, even their male children.
Just because we Americans call something racist, doesn't necessarily make it so in a culture that not only condones it, but shows no shame in it anymore than suicide is a bad thing in those cultures, in fact it is looked upon as a way to maintain ones honor.
You have the Internet, don't believe anyone. Look up Incest/Asian Culture. You may be surprised what you learn that as an American as to how your and my American views are contrary to other cultures actuality in so many ways.
I'm not sure if it is life ruining as alleged, then too, lost marriages often enough results in depression and suicide here in America. Sympathy is displayed by Americans for those suffering from depression, In many Asian Countries its a mental disease (depression), a sign of weakness that is overcome with renewed Honor in suicide.
Do some reading, Star. Not all that I've read is probably true no doubt, but, like I said read and then reach your own informed decision.
Why do you think most of the world looks at us Americans as World Police forcing our ideas of what is right or wrong on those that feel otherwise in other countries ?

Apparently I have been living here in Japan for eight years completely oblivious to the fact that incest is a commonly accepted practice and that suicide is an acceptable way to terminate a life, even though the recent outbreak of teen suicides has become a national concern and the high suicide rate of salary men is an issue that the government and business communities are struggling to deal with. I guess I should ask all my freinds and students if they would mind telling me just how much incest figures in their lives because they never mentioned it before. I see though that with the dozens of examples provided with links above there are obviously some people who take a bigger interest in incest and suicide than I ever did. Maybe I have missed out by not asking the right questions and talking to the wrong people. I guess if I go find an incest club I can get a different perspective about Japan. Maybe I should believe that message I once received that said Japanese like to eat aborted fetuses too. I thought it was just a bad Korean joke at the time. -

Just glancing through some of the suicide links, I don't see that suicide is acceptable in Asian countries. Though it was seen as a way of avoiding bringing shame to one's family in the past, modern Asian countries seem to think about suicide differently. It is recognized as a problem, as the articles I read pointed out. To say that just because something happens often makes it acceptable is like saying rape is acceptable or burglery is acceptable. If that were the case then killing people in the street because you lost your job would also be acceptable.
There's a difference between what was done in the past as opposed to what is happening now and what is common and what is acceptable.
You can still get a ticket for running a red light no matter how many people do it.

If the incest is done by consenting adults and something is used to prevent pregnacy why not fuck??? The only reasons it's illegal to adults is the risk of defects in children. Defects during birth can happen for a million reasons incest is just one. Theres a increased risk in fathers over 40 having children who have autism so what 40's yearolds can't have kids what are we gonna do start aborting kids of fathers over 40? -

It seems about 75% are mother/son incest related which surprises me that it is not a lot more father/daughter stuff.
The point I am trying to make is that when you go on American porn sites you may find a few incest videos and almost all of it is father/daughter.
So there seems to be a big market for it in Japan.

I have also heard about the incest clubs in Japan and I remember seeing a news story about such a club being raided in Cambodia. But I have never found one. I have found the soap clubs, maid clubs and even a milk bar with lactating women. It doesn't mean they are not there.
