Cars are necessary for all of us. A car can significantly speed up the way we work. Thus when a situation occurs when our cars break down, we are usually hampered in a lot of ways. In order to save us from the ordeals, the idea of car rent was born and well accepted. Cars are rented for various purposes and for different time periods.

There are services like limousine cars that celebrities use for attending important ceremonies. There are normal cars that people use everyday for carrying out their activities. This way the car renting companies have found out ways in which different types of customer needs can be addressed.

Car renting companies are usually of two types: those that have their own fleet of cars and those that are brokers – they rent from other rentals. Both types can be found everywhere, but mainly concentrated in busy areas or near airports. This way they ensure getting the maximum number of customers.

These companies follow different policies when charging their prices. The more established companies usually charge higher sums. They also set up more rules to be obeyed. For example, they restrict the number of miles to be driven, the age of the driver to be a minimum of 25 etc. however, since their brand names are established, people feel more comfortable in doing business with them.
