  I've never mixed candy and beer.  :-)  I'll stick with my peanuts.  lol  I wonder if the taste was much different than that new lime beer I've seen advertised?

  Actually the Mythbusters covered that - it's safe, though perhaps not very comfortable, to eat Mentos and Diet Coke.  The act of pouring the soda out of the bottle (even chugging straight from the bottle) messes up the reaction so it's not explosive like it would be if you dropped the Mentos straight into a freshly-opened bottle.  So you might have a tummyache if you eat a lot of them because it does still make some bubbles, but you won't explode! :D

  Nyt and Pickers: I think I could do without that tummyache. Although, I do like Mentos and Diet Coke. I think I'll steer clear of them together. But I do have the urge to buy a DC and Mentos and try that just to show the little man what it does.
