  i know, expendable , but this morning, i wasn't feeling like a repeat of last night!  you know what beefs me, is not knowing who did it , means they can do it anytime they like.  if i owned a site where people blogged on it, I wouldn't put up with it for minute.  i would look up their email address and not let that blogger blog again.

  They are getting stricter laws online, and there is going to come a time when people are not going to be allowed to 'troll' anyone.  i guess that is what they want, more regulation because they want to abuse the privilege of acting like respectful human beings.

  someone was terribly unkind to some readers and posters of my secretlife tribute, that person not only said rude remarks to and about SL, but anyone who stood up for her, so I blocked them, and then they created their own after they copied and posted mine.

  I didn't care for myself, but SL did not deserve that. She is so sweet and kind, and looks after her sister and family.  We all post things about our personal lives here from time to time, it is not intended to be used as amunition against us, I think that person is just mean-spirited.  I bet in RL, they look just like that picture I have posted above....

  Thanks for commenting anyhow, I just wanted you to know, there was a risk of being targetted if you did...

  The past couple of days I have been upset over someone posting mean anonymous comments on a tribute I did for another soulcaster.  Because of that, I won't be doing anymore tributes.  If it is going to attract such vicious content to be placed on their tribute, it defeats the purpose.

   

  If I don't do as much reaching out and commenting on your blogs, it is because I need to heal. I still read them, I think your blogs are marvelous and wonderful to read, but I will for now be withholding my comments.

   

  I have several personal friends and some family members blogging here, and will stay closer within that group as to avoid any chance of retaliation I might experience as a result of this blog.  I wouldn't want anyone else's blog being attacked because I was blogging on it.

   

  If you still wish to blog on mine, that is your choice, but I don't want any trouble coming to yours because of hostility towards me.  I deleted this particular blog, because I thought it might be where the trouble started.  Thus, I am re-posting it in hopes of discovering the truth as to who placed those vile comments on the blog I mentioned above....

  I'm no lawyer (but then neither is Jessie), but the supreme course case she's quoted here says asking for or offering pictures or videos of child pornography is illegal- and it says the cops don't have to give you the picture of a real child to arrest you for it.

  But the supreme court also said in this case that "abstract advocacy of illegality", such as calling for the legalization of hemp or child porn, is not illegal.

  As much as I hate Frit77's postings, as he's not showing us pictures of children actually (or pretending) doing these nasty things but just writing about it, the court seems to be saying that's ok. Just like murder is illegal, but nobody locks up mystery writers for writing about pretend murders.

  Is Frit's postings 'abstract advocacy'? Go ask a lawyer. Doesn't mean you or I have to like it. I think SoulCast is doing the right thing banning that stuff here.

  But Jessi's completely wrong about TNP. And for me and others to disagree with her about it doesn't make any of us 'pedophile advocates'. She did everything wrong over that.

  She often threatens to report members here to the law over nothing, then later says it was all her little joke. You may want to be generous with her about what's she's done and that's your right. Personally, I see her and her clan as being more dangerous that the so-called

  pedophiles. It's probably why we don't get along.

Also, at times, since I have been here (Oct), I think I have seen glimpses of her heart, that lead me to believe that (at times), she was trying to be here and co-exist in harmony.   I don't like Hottips. I've seen her say stuff about people I like or consider friends, or even just innocent bystanders to a conversation, that sets me boiling. But I try not to say too much because a) that makes me a target and b) the more she feels people are against her, the more she sees herself as a martyr for her cause. In any situation like this, not just Hottips specifically, the best thing to do is to simply turn your back. Arguing is pointless; someone who is irrational will not accept logic, no matter how irrefutable, unless it proves them right. Anything you do just feeds the fire and they will keep coming back for more.
  
  As my dad always said, "Make like a duck." Let it roll off you. The only way to beat a bully or a troll is to refuse to play the game in the first place.
  
  You have a point, Cry, that because she is often wrong and over the line does not mean she has never said anything true or worthwhile, doesn't mean she's never been hurt or frightened. But there is so much she says that is inflammatory or unreliable that it's hard to know the difference. Or hard to be willing to read through the bad to find the good.

  I know she says things mean sometimes, but if you read all of her blogs, which I do, More of them is about life in general, and like now, she is talking about her garden and giving tips, which I totally appreciated, because she gave some good advice.

  Also, she talks about what is going on in the world, and her thoughts about it, which is very informative and interesting...

  I would actually talk to her on her blog, but I sometimes I have been unkind towards her....and she might block me for that.

  I have to admit that I have been missing her.

  about getting along....hottips was right about me trying to appease others, but I didn't know it until now where she is concerned.....subconsciously, I think I felt tied to others who didn't get along with her, and it created a pull on me....

  travelr talked and talked to me, and after I printed that he was like a "knight in shining armour" to me....he stopped talking to me....

  I asked him if he was embarassed and he said no, but that he didn't want to be anybody's knight in shining armour.......then I heard not a word from him since....don't you find that interesting?

  I was just trying to take a look "inside" and see where my perception was off. I really was just trying to be honest. but sometimes, even trying to be honest, people have blinders on and don't know it.

  I have to admit, that sometimes I walk around with blinders on, not knowing it. Sometimes, even a fog, and I don't want to be offensive in my comments. I want to be that person I was when I first signed on here at SC.

  I think I was a better person then than I have been in the recent months. I have been too easily offended, and I tripped over my insecurities on numerous ocasions (sp?).

  I have inadvertedly offended and alienated people here, you included, and I don't want to be like that. I know it must be in my personality, or I couldn't have expressed it, but I want it out of my personality.

  Therefore, I wrote this, hoping I was doing that. Perhaps I need to dig deeper to the "bone" and find out what lies there. I was really trying to take responsibility for my actions where you and others are concerned.

  Thank you bloc, and expendable, for your comments and your interest. This is what I think, and I might be wrong, but I think the reason perhaps subconsciously hottips pushes some people away is because, in her own way, she is trying to be protective.

  I have only known her or had much communication with her right after Christmas, so I know that isn't a lot of time to really know someone, so I might be wrong about this, but here goes.

  Destiny, Lucy, and myself took a lot of flack from different ones around here for our association with hottips, and I think she thought we would be better off not having a close association with her, so that other people wouldn't reject us for it.

  But none of us three cared about that, but still I think that fact bothered her. Another thing: I don't understand why people just don't listen to what she is saying to them.

  Some have been aggravated over the "blocking" situation. She has explained on numerous ocasions, that the reason, she blocks, is for a "cooling" off period. If the conversation appears to be 'heating' up, then she might block that individual to give them a chance to ' cool off' or maybe even herself to chill out.

  But, it seems when a person gets blocked from her blog, they take it personally, and get an attitude towards her, and say unkind things about her or behind her back, so what she gonna do but keep them blocked?

  Now, I may be way off on this, but I think I have read that on her blog before in attempt to let people know not to take it personally.

  Like I said, it is just a thought, I am not a mind reader or anything, I just think I remember her saying something like that....

  her blocking is a power trip. She didn't block me for a cooling off period, because it wasn't heated. She plays stupid games. Here's how here stupid game went down with me.

  She made a post asking people if she should leave the site. I don't read all the drama that goes on here, but I know that every time I see some her name is there. I commented saying exactly that. she argued with me a bit and that was that.

  then she made that post expendable linked to and when I saw it I thought, "see, this is exactly what I was talking about". So I commented saying exactly that, which you've read. She then accused me of being one of "them" and blocked me. I don't even know who "they" are.

  And then there is the frequent false accusations of pedophilia. She knows that a picture of a naked adult is not pedophilia, but she makes those accusations anyway.

  I admire your philosophy of reaching out to everyone and trying to build bridges, but it's not a philosophy I prescribe to and hottips is an example of why. Any excuse she gives for her behavior is nothing more than a false rationalization.

  A picture of an adult male or female was not available when I joined sc almost 2 years ago. Text based only, no pics capabilities.
  
  Within 4 months of joining pics began appearing, but not of people dressed or undressed.
  
  SC then, as now, engaged children as jr members to soulcast down to age 13.
  
  No member had posted any nudes whatever at that time and even written erotica seemed soft core in comparison to todays material available in SC.
  
  No tagging system was in place at the time the post w/ nudes when up requiring a warning to adult content. SC was later convinced by google to tag adult post from what I read. Tags were then applied but many months after it was posted.
  
  How many people in here would intentionally expose themselves to children knowing children were present ? How many would masturbate to climax for children as well ?
  
  It was my opinion then, and still is, that the individual responsible for the nude posting of himself masturbating was done in an uncensored post without warning to content when first posted and did so knowing children were inclusive to the public domain which he knowingly and intentionally exposed himself.
  
  That individual exposed himself and preformed the sexual act of masturbation and deviated that act further by doing so in a site he was a member inclusive of children.

  Now, there is a tagging system included with warnings posted regarding adult material.
  
  Its a bandaid, no different than a site that ask...are you 18 yes or no....hit yes and your in. Tag a post ADULT CONTENT and you have just made a billboard drawing attention in a colorful tag.
  
  Are tags a warning or a lure to children ? imo, both. Is the color change in text as a link a lure as well as a directional to adults and minors alike ? Ofcourse, imo.
  
  Is any man or woman who knowingly exposes themselves to children and preforms a sexual act in the view of children knowingly and intentionally, is [ in my opinion ] a pedophile and anyone supporting such an individuals right to expose him/herself to children in such a fashion is [ in my opinion ] at minimum, a pedophile advocate.

  I find it interesting that while that individual's post had not a single picture deleted by sc, I had 3 different post of mine wherein I put pics of myself up and remained partially dressed and exposed no private parts of the body but through visual suggestion and I had 4 pics removed (where you post a pic and come back only to find the space empty w/ a sm symbol in its place).
  
  Thats why is was my opinion then as now, that the individual that made the first and only picture porn post allowed on soulcast was by someone directly associated with soulcast. That opinion is based upon conversations here and outside of here with various agencies and professionals.

  bloc----I'm not trying to influence people's thinking where Hottips4U is concerned. She has friends here, just like any of the rest of us, some people like some bloggers and some like some more than others.

  So, this post was not intended as an attempt to change people's opinions about anyone. I had made some public statements in my struggles with hottips, and I have always been taught if you do something "publicly", then when you seek to make amends for it, you need to do that "publicly" as well.

  It was part of my upbringing, so think of this post as an apology of sorts. It really didn't require any input from anyone else, unless they wanted to reply which you are doing, however, the things that you are mentioning sound pretty judgemental. I was giving a possible analogy as to why hottips blocks people, because that seems to be one of the things I have heard people mention from time to time.

  When you addressed it, however, your statements were 'judgemental' in my opinion. You flat out call it control power, or your exact words are "power trip".

  May I ask you if that is why you block people? Have you ever blocked anyone? Is that why you blocked them? Your statement gives me pause. If you came up with "power trip" as the reason someone would block someone else.

  When I have blocked anyone, it has only been temporarily, and I have to admit, it was more temperamental on my part than anyone. So, see , we all have different reasons for doing so, and unless that person tells us their reasons, it is pure speculation on our part.

  That is what I was doing last night. I was speculating, because I don't know why she blocks except for in her post where she actually explains why she blocked the ones who remain blocked at this time.

  I have a family member on that list, and I have a friend (a member of my small group that meets once a week at my house) I have told them personally, I would have done the same thing in their case, had it been me. They were trying to ridicule her and humiliate her. That is obvious to me, and it was obvious to hottips. ...thank you for you input......dee

  I see the naked picture the very same way you do. I didn't know anything about "tagging" before I came here to blog, so when I saw it, I didn't know what it meant. When I clicked on the "read entire post", then there was further iformation so I knew something was up, but it said general content or G rated,

  clicked that on and saw a man's naked chest including torso area and black pubic hair that look like a "grassland". i immediately flung my chair back against the wall agasp in disbelief, and that image stayed in my mind for some time to come.

  I would not want my girls to have seen that until they were adults, and only if they chose to, not by accident like I did.

  I personally feel like you do in that their are minors on this site and should not have to be exposed to nudity. I will say I have nothing personally against TNP and have chatted with him here in our blogs a couple of times, and found him somewhat likeable and congeniel.

  I can't speak for him on the matter because I didn't talk to him about it. So, I have to assume it was a bad judgement call and now pride may be involved in not removing it.

  But, the site allows it, and all I can do is inform my friends who visit this site, so they don't accidentally stumble across it like I did.

  Thank you for being concerned enough to bring it to my attention, afterwards when I mentioned my reaction, because until you explained to me why it was even present here on this site, I was confused and thought this might actually be an adult site and that I just didn't know it....

  Dee : I did post exactly that w/ regards to blocking and why I did so. Some that I have blocked was a really hard thing to do because foolishly I had grow to enjoy their company only to be stuck for trusting and so a few are gone with the wind and not coming back in on my post to comment under those user names in any event.
  
  Bloc got nailed w/ my bloc { iggy } because they simply can not get past blaming me directly even for what others have stated or have indicated I said. Bloc has very lil contact with me and none that isn't judgmental and or condescending in nature.
  
  Bloc's arrogance I simply ignore as immaturity that most likely will follow all the way to the grave. That is the least of reasons, but it helped push that iggy button.

  Dee, just for a second consider how much effort has been put forth to make porn and minors here inclusive to one another, in light of all the term moil over rapes, sexual abuses, porn post, sm bd, mistresses, sex slaves, gay straight free porn sites, soulcast does have it all.

  Is the above on that site "credentials?"

  I went to the site a month ago, when it was being discussed again, and I couldn't find that one, and it is really hard to even get on his site, it sits and spins forever, so I didn't know what was still on there.

  I think the problem with this issue in the world is that, little be little we are becoming "desensitized" to many things that are harmful to people 's minds.

  When we see what is being produced in the movies, etc. it is desensitizing us to what is wrong and what is right, and we have accepted things calling them 'gray' areas.

  When I was being raised, things were clearly in black and white, no gray areas. So, we are almost walking around in a fog, but when I say "we" I mean "me" because I know I accept more things today that wouldn't have been my standards a few years ago.

  Now that is a scary revelation about myself, and papajack has mentioned to me that I accept too many things that are clearly in black and white, but that I seem to think is a "gray" area.

  This is clearly black and white to me.........I don't like it, but especially the sex abuse, porn post, sm bd, etc.

  Do you think this is going to become an adult site? Or is it considered to be already with the "uncensored" title?

  No it is not considered an all adult site. It is a general public domain with a starting membership age of 13 and up.
  
  This site once flew so far under the radar here in New York that all our schools allowed it as a text based site...long after pics were introduced. My efforts led to it no longer being allowed in NY schools due to adult content and its uncensored status.
  
  That one of the biggest problem with some here, is that I have been successful to some degree.... Judging me and demeaning me only sets my heels, shunning me gives me time to write about here rather than in here, ya know ?...its been a good thing actually, I ve accomplished much more than I would have arguing or being disenchanted time and again.

  This is suppose to be an uncensored place where you're free to share just about anything. For some, that includes sex. Me, I could care less. I don't read the sex blogs, they don't interest me. And SoulCast says it's ok as long as you tag it right.

  But I've read TNP's blog. There's not much there really. A big warning and a lot of tags. Some links to pics instead of pics posted in the blog. Not a lot of what I'd call explicit talk - you read worse in the sex blogs' descriptions.

  Still, if you've got a problem with something someone posted, there's always SoulCast_Help. It's how you report problems.

  What surprises me is when others claim children read and blog here. I've only run into adults here, so how does anyone know children come here? MySpace and Facebook have the stuff the kids want.

  Oh - if you don't want to see sex on Google, you should set the preferences to strict filtering.

  First, there is a law that requires sites to get parents permission before allowing children under 13 to signup. This law requires that SC ask people if they are older than 13 which SC does. This does not mean that SC targets children, markets to children, or "engages" children. Hottips frequent and intentionally tries to twist this point as she did in her previous comment here when she said, "SC then, as now, engaged children as jr members to soulcast down to age 13."

  This is simply bullshit and she knows it, but it isn't even the most absurd aspect of her claims. Here's here logic in clear terms

  1. soulcast "engages" children.

  2. soulcast has pictures of naked adults

  3. Therefore, it's pedophilia

  This is patently absurd. The first premise is false and the conclusion is absurd even if the first premise were true. My grandfather, like many men his age, had pictures of naked women in his garage/shed. Children came in from time to time because they were my friends or they were his friends children. Does that make him a pedophile? IF so than many millions of americans, you probably know a lot, are pedophiles.
