I just wanted to let you all know how Todd is doing. I got to go see him yesterday because my pastor's wife offered to take me: I kept thanking her.
So they transfered him to another hospital, now he's at AGH (Allegheny General) I like the doctor and nurses there. Though West Penn would let me stay til he came home, AGH didn't. But anyway. The doctor talked about so many things I didn't fully understand and still kind of don't. But they could do two or three procedures, one is real simply a little more indepth ablation which he had a few weeks ago, another ablation that is more avasive and more dangerous...a cardio something or other where they shock his heart, and a bunch more. The dr also said there could be a virus that is making the heart beat fast and not pump right, or extra curcits.
Today he called and they did a scope to see if he had a blood clot, then they were going to do the shock therapy thing. That one isn't so dangerous and it would give the drs time to see if there is in fact a virus in his heart, which may make a lot of sense because his heart began fluttering after the first ablation...so that's a good possibility you know. But I won't hear anything til later when he comes out of the anestetia (sp).
So still need prayers and hopefully he can come home soon. I took him some things yesterday like my pastor's wife made me a rock that said hope, peace, and faith last year so I took him that, a book of bible quizzes and stuff to help keep him busy, and a small scrapbook/storybook thing with pictures of us and telling him how much I love him and stuff. After he looked at it he wouldn't let it go until the doc came in and made him put it down.
It's all so difficult. I didn't want to leave him yesterday but since I couldn't stay I had to. So i pray he comes home soon, if not my mom said we can go see him on Saturday when she doesn't have to work.
Thank you all for the prayers and support I really appreciate it.
