I've been here a couple days now and I finally got around to calling my parents this morning at breakfast time.  They were so  freakin'  thrilled to hear from me and find out that I'm only an hour away and have been for the last two days, but am just now calling.    And why didn't you call when you first got here?   I think you should be able to get the picture.

I spent the last two days mostly in the woods, wandering around and trying to talk myself into just turning around and going back home without visiting my parents.   I failed.  Sometimes it is so freakin' difficult getting through to myself.  I just don't freakin' listen.

Anyway, we are meeting at this freakin' sea food place that claims that everything they serve is 'fresh catch' even though we are at least three  freakin' hundred miles from the ocean and the only place they do any fishing is in their freakin' backroom freezer.   I don't mind frozen fish, its just that if you are going to claim that your fish is fresh catch , at least some of it ought to be  freakin' fresh.  Besides the place freakin' sucks.

So now I am putting off my departure  because I just don't want to go.   It isn't the venue either, I just don't want to deal with all the shit I know is going to go down.  So freakin' uncool!    I have to leave real soon though because it will take at least a freakin' hour to get there and we are meeting at noon.  Maybe if I'm late they'll just leave, hmmm.

Since I got my wipers  repaired I've had no difficulties with my car.  Hopefully that will remain true till I get back home at least.  I'm not sure how much more freakin' stress I can take on this trip.  Oh yeah, I had to buy a new spare too, well a good used spare anyway.
So far this trip has cost me over $500 in repairs.  Maybe I should look into something a little newer!

I'm sending good thoughts your way. Hope it is going better than you anticipate. You might have heard the "buy something a little newer" phrase somewhere. At least it seems familiar to me.

aww, maybe it wont be that bad?  They are excited to see u atleast, does that mean anything?

botoni,  Yeah, it does sound vaguely familiar doesn't it?

starchini. One disadvantage of this venue is that it is often difficult to clearly express sarcasm.  My parents were neither thrilled that I called nor eager to see me.

I have spent the  last day and a half wandering around in the woods attempting to collect my thoughts .  Once I get home I may write an account of my 'meeting' with my parents.  Right now I just don't want to freakin' talk about it.

I'm leaving now to go home and will not likely log in again for a few days.

    love nature and stay cool

Hey! Just happened to check in and spot this. Hope your car has a less eventful trip home. I'm looking forward to hearing how the 'meeting' went. If nothing else I m sure that you are relieved its been done. Travel well.

oh my god ,you make me laff soooooooooooo much , your attitude towards your parents is EXACTLY the same as mine ,i can just imagine you now wondering round making excuses , knowing me i would stand watching from a distance waiting looking at then getting fed up of waiting then turn up at the last minute,,i wouldnt blame the car cos you love your car,and that wouldnt be fair on your car not after all youve been through eh....
maybe the smell of fish will put them off  if they have been waiting along time.. do what i would do bite your tongue and smile ;)x

Hey, I'm back home and It's time to catch up on some shit.

botoni,  Hey, thanks for stoppin by.  The trip back was less 'exciting' by degrees.  It was interesting still.  I'll get to that later.

lioness, Hey nice to see you again.  Yeah my family is now in the history books as far as I'm concerned.  I'm done.

simass,  Hey, I just don't understand the whole 'fresh catch' deal when everyone with half a braincell knows.

starchini, Hey, yeah it gets difficult sometimes, and when you write like you talk you don't really think about, 'Just how is this going  across?'

    hey thanks everyone

    love nature and stay cool
