It was set in ancient Persia. It seems the king had been off making war with his armies and navy, and had returned to his own home country. Now, the king, in his arrogance, vowed that his feet would not touch the soil until *something* (and it's driving me crazy, but I can't remember what!) happened, and was just sure that the something had happened before he got to the shore. When he got there, of course, the something had not happened, so now he was in a delema. He could not go back on his kingly decree, but he wanted to get to his palace just the same. His solution? He had his soldiers lie down on the ground and he walked on their backs all the way to his palace. As soon as he would step off one, that soldier would run to the front of the line and lay down and wait for the king to trample his back once again. When the king finally got to the palace, the something had happened, so he was able to walk on his native soil into the castle.
The only other thing I remember from the dream is that the king had a really long left big toe, like, twice as long as a normal person's. I think that had something to do with the reason he was king.
I have no clue what this dream means!
