At 5,500 pesos a night, this is expensive. A few years back, I cruised the Caribbean at only 25,000 pesos for 5 days (Converted). This is an international cruise line where name has been built already and the ship was humongous. 13 floors! So if you are going to compare that ship to this one, the 22,000 for 5 days in a small cruise start up would be expensive.

Who am I to judge? Even though if it is expensive, I am going to try it out one of these days and surely, will write about it here. Cruising has been one of my expensive past times and I never regretted each one of them. I am actually scheduled for a Mediterranean cruise this December. Hope it would not get postponed.

This cruise ship, the 7107 island cruises is owned by a local businessman Mr. Tajanlangit Sr. It has 137 rooms and could fit an estimated number of 400 guests. Complete with 5 star hotel amenities and plans to install internet facilities, this cruise ship would be a major news to the Philippine Tourism.

Hope you could lower the prices for Philippine Residents and citizens as major cruise lines does the same thing.

If you are fond of traveling and plan to visit the Philippines, this is a good spot to read about it. > Where to go, what to eat and how to guide in the Philippines

at first i was excited and happy that my wife and i could go on a cruise on the philippines eco-tourism triangle which are boracay, mindoro and palawan, but my bubble burst upon learning their rates, because it wasn't exactly affordable but it was more than most can afford. maybe it was really meant to cater to the rich and foreigners who can splurge... i just hope that someday soon, they would offer rates that are friendly to the masses pockets, because i believe, why bother promote tourism, if you are going to alienate the local masses, who should be the first in line, to witness their nations beauty and glory.

5,500 is with meals, entrance fees to the sights, tours, and activities onboard and off shore :)

5,500 is not really that expensive for people who are well off... however if we would like to promote this to our fellow filipinos i still think a little discount wouldnt hurt. though it boasts of meals, entrance fees, and tours. this inclusions are still needed to be proven equitable with its cost. imagine spending 11,000 a day for two on a ship, whilst you can add a couple of thousand more and go to boracay or bohol on 3 day/ 2nights stay with food and airfare and activities and tours as well. = )

I am excited as you are about this cruise ship in the philippines. I also started planning and take my mom and mother in law. But when i knew the price, i may not afford it even though I work abroad. I decided to just take them to hongkong, singapore and taiwan which will be cheaper.

Having a cruise liner in our country is a great news in the tourism industry. But as waht others say, i think their price is a little too expensive for filipinos and for the amenities it offer. I just recently availed their moonlight cruise for Php1,750/pax. I tird it because i wanted to see first if it is worth taking my family for a few days. Heres what i noiced. NEGATIVE : 1. Their front desk staff is not well-trained on customer service. 2. I found out that breakfast is only included on their price (not fullboard) 3. The ship was built during 1960's and came from Greece, then bought by a Thai, then bought by Mr. Tajanlangit. So the vessel already smells odd, just like the smell of a ordinary passenger ships. 4. Food was very basic, few choices. 5. Few facilities, and tiny pool (i think its good for 3 peolple only). Unless you don't really swim, 15 people would probably fit in, if theyre standing only. 6. They are docked in Pier 6 in Manila, w/c is very hard to locate for first timers. And the area looks dangerous for tourists. I'll probably catch them somwhere out of Manila to avoid this port. 7. Long qeue when boarding 8. Unorganize procedures. Like giving the guests with meal stubs. Of course, some misplace it. So why not, skip the meal stub. Anyway, i pressume all the guests onboard are legit passengers, having been thoroughly check with ID and tickets before entering the ship. 9. Their 7,107 magazine are for sale. Why not offer it for free among your guests. 10. Price is way too expensive. POSTIVE 1. Its few capacity enables personalize service. 2 Their destinations are exceptional! The best of the Philippines! 3. Waiters and waitress are accommodating (except the front desk)

it's my first time to cruise together with my family and so all of us are very excited to our manila -coron-manila cruise. It's undeniable that coron is a very nice place a real treasure to the Philippines especially when we do island hopping a truly great experience to explore the island. But every time we go back to the 7107 cruise ship after we do the island hopping we experienced a great disappointment especially to their supervisor namely AYANNE and RHEENA and also their front desk staff who are not courteous to their guest and to us, they acted as if they are the guest more than the guest aboard the ship. They gave us a disorganized day to day schedule, what they want is for us to depend on their PA system. The pontoon transfer was extremely disgusting to the passenger so much are unsafe.I have so much to say and it really need a big space here, to be honest at this time I can't recommend to my friends and relatives to cruise aboard the 7107 ship for they really need improvement, for they carry the name of our country.

i just read about this on inquirer.net i was excited to hear about it and browse directly on their website. i was excited to see first the destinations, the amenities and the activities. I said, this is cool. Maybe I could settle for it before I'd go star cruise. but then, when i get through their pricing, WOWOWEE! i think it's expensive. It would cost less if I'd go to those islands with public transport and stay in a hotel where my 4,750 is more than enough for twin sharing already. I couldn't agree more that the island cruise should make some pricing where not only rich people could afford but even ordinary people who would love to have a taste of LUXURY. =p

You can take superferry going to coron for 3,600 to 4,000 stateroom for 2 (not counting additional fees). rooms in coron is around another 3,000 in the good resorts. excursion goes as low as 2,000 to rent a boat going to coron island alone. add a few more pesos you get the same price as cruising for 2. but either way it is nice to experience coron and the other islands surrounding coron. go anywhere around the world but if you haven't visited coron you haven't gone anywhere.

when i heared about this cruise ship, i was very excited coz im working on a cruise ship aboroad.. i wonder if we can have it here since we're composed of many islands which has nice spots like in caribbean... in our company, 1 family pay as low as $2000++ for the whole week (7-day cruise) with free meals 24 hours... they charge $300 per person per 7 day caribbean cruise exclusive of the day tours, so u have an option if u want to do it on ur own or book with the excursion desk...our eco-tourism spots are just as great in caribbean... the people in caribbean are so benefited with this cruise ship. the ship pay the port of destination.. and the passengers and crew dine and buy product from their people...i hope this will hapen in our country, but how can we afford cruises here with very expensive pricing, much more than a 7-day caribbean cruise with full amenities...if i can fly my family to miami, i'll better book on a $300 (15K more or less) caribbean cruise than to spend 5-7 k per night which makes it more ore less 35k per week... i hope this will be more affordable.. so everybody can enjoy our native land...
