To those soulcasters who happen upon my blog once in a while and to those that suscribe, I felt that I should post a goodbye note.
I find the concept of blogs wonderful--for a blog could be used for international communication and understanding. Skald, Emanon, and others who use their blogs to give of themselves and their ideas, that is what a blog should be.
But the world is a very complex place, and I have not been able to reach that many people--and I am a writer with other forums (that take more effort than a blog and maybe I've been 'hiding' from my responsibilites in these other forums by blogging).
Re Israel: I've given the links to the Jerusalem Post, Ynet, Arutz 7, Debkafile, and HaAretz. You can find them by googling yourself also. If you are someone who would like to know the truth and understand that that you are not getting it in the western press, then go ahead and read for yourselves. There is a lively international fight in the comments of every article in the Jerusalem Post, you can join in, for the comment section of Israeli newspapers is open and resembles blog posts, with arguments going on for days.
The other newspapers also have comment fights, especially Ynet. And I gave the links to some Arab newspapers, and you should really read what they are actually saying, for you won't get that on CNN or any other western news source.
As for Kabbalah, there are some Jewish sights which try to explain it, and maybe --maybe some day I'll be back. I don't know.
I really would have liked to continue with the suppressed and forgotten book club, for I did see people reading the blogs. There were so many incredible books that came out in the 1960's and 1970's. The Magical Child, Sanity Madness and the Family, The Morning of the Magicians, Diet for a Small Planet, Let's Eat to Stay Well, etc. Hopefully some of you will find these books and others of the eye-opening sort. Some of them could save a life or two.
I come from the Tribe of Shimon, and we are known for our tempers. And we are the crafts people and teachers among the Jews. So my temper comes along with the teaching skills, (and I've actually been taken over by ancestors in the middle of a Hebrew lesson so as to teach some insight that was lost over the years). So I am not apologizing to anyone I offended, for you got me mad by your comments, and I reacted and tried to inform. That is that.
I am an orthodox Jew (now for about 30 years or so) and I am so happy that I have achieved this status, of making an attempt to keep the laws that G-d gave to my people over 3,300 years ago at Sinai. I was not brought up this way, for America is a place that many Jews abandoned their way of life and their teachings, and the Israeli pioneer movement is mostly leftist and non-religious also. I was fortunate to have been helped to come back to attempt to serve G-d the Creator.
One more little correction: Jews don't want everyone to be Jews, we are selected to be the army of G-d--an army of teachers and priests. At the moment we've not been able to do that, and if we've become manufactorers of armament, that is because no one in the world, especially the US, was willing to give us even guns to defend ourselves when we needed them. G-d wants all the people of the earth to keep the Seven laws of Noah, that is the first and universal true G-dly religion. There are Noahide congregations in the US and any Chabad House could give you information on these laws, which most of you are probably keeping already.
Last year, before he passed away, the Highest Kabbalist, Rabbi Caduri, warned that the world was about to go through terrible earth changes. These changes are beginning to happen, the earthquakes, the volcanos etc. They are not here to wipe us out, but to change the world, to turn the page on the Messianic Age, when there will be no more rope given to those who do evil and peope will live long productive interesting lives, learning about the Creator and His Creation, and having a much much higher, constantly higher level of technology, that will be used for good.
So if I have caused ten people to open their eyes on an issue or two... then all this print is not wasted. Shalom
