I am trying to be more actively blogging here, but please tell me how to get more readers. Even when I blogged every day, I didn't have many. Readers are important to me so I know how I am doing and if I am getting my thoughts across. I am 71 yrs. old, and I have a lot to share about life, etc....

Try commenting on those posts that interest you and share the same interests that you enjoy, and do it a lot!
its always quiet on the weekend so don't sweat that at the moment.
It also depends on what people want to read, and well being 71! (wow thats old eh) LOLOLOL just kidding, I'm sure we can learn a lot from each other full stop!

Sometimes I just use Soulcast as a sounding board, and start writing about things I would be talking to people about. Not too many share my interests. One of my hobbies is mixed martial arts, so I just go on and on about it, and there are maybe 2 people who are interested in what I have to say. I don't care. I like talking about it. I guess it would be more fun if it led to some real dialogues, but then again, maybe it wouldn't, because it could lead to disagreements that might turn unpleasant. It's strange to think that something like martial arts could lead to agitation, but the truth is, it very well could, if your favorite athlete is insulted. My favorite martial artist is a very gentle and kind Russian man named Fedor Emelianenko, and when he is insulted it really does irritate me. That hasn't happened on Soulcast but it has happened on Myspace. -
