Some of my blockmates from law school and I are planning to go to Europe. Operative word: PLANNING. I have zilch in my bank account and only have a few hundred pesos in my wallet. I don't know how I'm gonna raise at least $4000 for that trip. WAAAH!!! They have relatives who are willing to shell out a few hundred dollars for their Europe fund. I have yet to make my fund-raising scheme. We plan to go next year, around October, after we take the dreaded bar exams. It's a way to keep our minds off from the long wait for the results and to reward ourselves after being roasted and toasted at the University of the Philippines College of Law. My seatmate since freshman year, Macel, during her study breaks, had painstakingly researched and surfed the net to plan our itinerary. She made a least 3. One is for 21 days, the other for 35 days and the last for 48 days. Of course we chose the longer one. This would cost around $3700 inclusive of airfare, meals, museums, visas, train tickets etc etc. For 15 countries!!! Considering all those, the amount she came up with is soooo not bad. It's actually the cheapest one I've heard so far. This is, as she told me earlier, is just a notch above scrimping. We would have to eat bread and bring 5 canned goods each for our survival food but we would have at least 1 sit-down meal in a restaurant in a day. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want, I want, I want!!!!
But considering my financial status right now, I really don't know how I can raise up that much money. Living in a country where $1 = Php54, the target fund would sound like Php200,000!!!
For people who can give me tips on how to travel cheap in Europe or how I can raise $4000, email me at kakakaakitakit@yahoo.com.
For people who want to go to Europe and want to travel cheap, email me for the itinerary. I'll send you a copy provided you pay me $50! Hahaha, just kidding.
For people who has sooooo much money and would want to help a deserving law student from a third world country, email me, I'll send you my account number. Hahaha. I hope to champion family law and environmental law when I graduate. Believe me, I am a good investment. :)
Or... I can get a study grant or something.. I'm rambling already.. Okay, I'll stop.
