I recently found out that the local American Legion President was him hawing about putting the flags out on the grave sites of local Veterans for Memorial Day.
I have had a previous run in with this guy he ran two local wastewater plants but, was a big fan of not utilizing the preventive maintenance program installed at his very own plants. He was let go from both and the Legion Members have been unsuccessful to this point to also remove him as President.
I am a Peace time Veteran and do not qualify to join the Legion but, had someone called me and asked me to go out on my day off on my arthritic knees I would have gladly placed them on the graves myself. All of them if I had to.
He should be ashamed despite his serving in Vietnam for a tour apparently his need to be lethargic has taken over his devotion to his fellow Soldiers.
