People like this give the rest of us Christians a bad name.
  • skald said on May 24, 2008....
Just like Fearing said and those people are no Christians. They just call them selfs that to use others.

the way he spoke to this woman, degrading her to the level of prostituting herself . this man is in a position of power and currupt,''this is the first time [''i agree b s ]..a few stripes across his'' lilly white back with a whip would open his eyes too the wrong he has done.

Texas sure isn't doing well this week.  Cps having to release those kids and now this.  Only goes to show "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.  Wish we could say that these were exception rather than the rule in this country.

You fucking termite...have you any clue as the damage you will cause by your comment?  Fuck off and thing about the implications of what you have done
  • RollingC said on May 24, 2008....
Damn.....I'm not up to date with the news on that....Hmmmm I wonder if I  could get a job in the admissions dept. of that school...(just kidding).

That incident is honestly beyond my understanding.... he's either one hell of a horny guy or she's some kinda sexy mom or combination of both.

a dumb fuck of a moron!
  • mulgere-hircum said on May 24, 2008....
humanbeing: have you ever considered the damage you will cause by calling someone a "fucking termite" and telling him to "fuck off?"  Don't be a hypocrite man.  Secondly, exposing the truth is never a bad thing.  All this comment did was expose someone's bad behavior.  Tell me, which is better for Christianity, covering up sinful behavior, or owning up to it?  Which is the best way to forgiveness, asking for it, or pretending you've done nothing wrong.  If Christians cover up such stories, we are just as much to blame for our deceitfulness.  Now make nice (Matt. 5:23) and stop being inhumane.

One will find miscreants in every walk of life, it simply seems more stark by contrast when they are found in religious institutions.

    wtf...
  • trueheart said on May 25, 2008....
Excuse me but read the comment....Cps used its power to terrorize young children.  The founder of this school used his position to hurt and dehumanize a mother.  When anyone in a position of power uses that power and causes harm,  well, there is no excuse.

    diabolic: precisely!

froggie: i don't recall expressing surprise. and i thought we agreed to ignore one another?

carm: i'm reluctant to make assumptions on that: i think he's just, well...a moron.

fearing: there are an awful lot of people who call themselves christians who obviously are trying to fool the rest of us.

    skald: exactly!

    polar: yep, pretty much!

eilan: OTOH, fuckwits work in pretty obvious ones!

blue: well, i'm not the world's biggest fan of corporeal punishment but i do think that exposure and the resulting judgmentalism should fix his wagon.

    true: i haven't been following what's going on w/ that case--what happened?

humanbeing: if you can't keep a civil tongue in your head, get lost.

rollingc: o, i think it's very simple, myself: obviously, he's watched forest gump one too many times.

monalique: hey, welcome to my blog and thanks for visiting! and yes, that he is.

m-h: i'm unclear on at whom humanbeing is directing his comment so should he learn how to communicate, perhaps we'll see.

julihalo: hey, welcome! and honestly, i think "jerk" is too nice a word for this guy.

SR: well, i think that some miscreants are clearly drawn to religious institutions, feeling they'll be subject to less scrutiny that way.

    sis: yeah, pretty much!

The courts found that cps had no proof that the children were in danger and ordered them returned to their parents.  cps says it will do so in the next few weeks.  Just today....A minister was caught in a sting in Texas....he had been online with a 13 yr old and was gonna teach her all he knew...he says he drove 3 hrs. to buy her a soda...Whats happening to this country?????????
  • blondee0718 said on May 27, 2008....
wow...unbelievable....not very christian like!!!  tsk, tsk!!
  • silverwhisper said on May 28, 2008....
trueheart: you know, i don't think it's that there's anything different: i think we just know about a lot more of this crap.

blondee: hypocrisy, sadly, is not exactly unknown in church leadership.

  • RollingC said on May 28, 2008....
I wonder if the hypocrisy is limited to only the Christian faith?
How come we don't hear any Buddhist Monks being caught red handed?
Or from other religions from around the world.
  • silverwhisper said on May 28, 2008....
we don't hear those things b/c the leadership of most other faiths isn't organized anywhere nearly as tightly as christianity. i'm sure there are corrupt rabbis and imams out there too, but christian church leaders seem to wield more power than leaders of other faiths--and you know that's gotta attract an unsavory element .
