Now imagine itТs a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. You have an hour to kill, so you decide to sit outside of Baker Center at the picnic tables and catch up on homework. You find an empty table, plug your laptop in, spread your books out and get to work. Just when youТve gotten yourself comfortable is the moment when you smell it Е cigarettes smoke. Some random girl has plopped down at the table next you, whipped out a cigarette and lighted up. Then she just sits there smoking, without even acknowledging you. IТm not a smoker, so maybe someone else can clarify. How could anyone have the audacity to sit down next to someone who isnТt smoking and think it perfectly polite to light up and blow smoke right in the other personТs face? I wouldnТt dream of pulling my perfume out of my bag and spraying someone. That would be rude! But smokers do it all the time. I mean, you, the non-smoker, were sitting there first, but now you have a dilemma. You can either remain seated, thus filling your lungs with the unwanted stench or you can pack up and go inside. Either way, you lose.
