Duke, cry, and I, went to Cleveland Ohio because Duke and I might be relocating there. His job has an opening in that office, so we went there to see if we thought it would be somewhere we would like to live.
While we were there, we drove through Lakewood, and it was beautiful!
Clifton Boulevard - big trees and multi-family homes.and apartment complexes. 4x4 brick complexes. it is the busiest street in Lakewood although it is mainly residential.
Clifton Park - Considered to be the wealthiest neighborhood in Lakewood located at the northewestern corner of the city.
The Rocky River - located on the west side of Clifton Park.
Lake Erie on the north.
Clifton Prado - 1-st. neighborhood between Clifton Blvd. and Detroit Ave, one block east of Cove Ave. it is the most narrow street in Lakewood and has is in need of repair. Many of the bldgs on that street have been condemed.
Downtown Lakewood - The main section is centered at Detroit Ave and Warren Rd. It is lined with office bldgs, restaraunts, and a variety of shops. The library is also located there, and hospital, and city schools are all located in this district.
Next we came to the easternmost neighborhood, I loved this, because it had many concert venues, taverns, Some of the things I saw were "The Hi-fi", The Five-O-Clock, Phantasy, and the Chamber.
We saw many other things as we drove through the city, such as; Lakewood Heights blvd, where there were several bars, and we found Lakewood Park, which is the bigest park in Lakewood, I was told that it has direct access to Lake Erie
