I've just got home and I'm PISSED OFF! And after this our president, as well as all those foreigner experts will say that the elections were "clean".
So here's the thing. Before elections I was on the list. My grandmother even saved the numbers of our family members. Today were elections. And I went there only to find out that my name was not on the list of voters. I was shocked. I definitly should be there, I made the man check my name three times and then I checked myself. - I WASN'T THERE.
So I asked him what to do. He asked one young woman to solve this problem. After hearing what my problem was she searched my identity in computer, she typed my personal number (or whatever it's called) and guess what! - Someone else was there with MY number. It's like I DON'T EVEN EXIST! Some person with different name, different address, different birth date is there with MY ID NUMBER!
And he's there not only as a citizen, he's there on that voters' list. So, IF this person is real, and IF he really has ID with the same number, he can vote?!
I'm thinking about the idea of going to that address and find out who this person is, I'm really interested.
Anyway, they tried to find out what I could do, they called so-called "hot wire" which is supposed to help people with problems with voting, but the only thing they could find out was that I could not vote.

wow. at lest i know where you are now. things are so different, my ID number is a social security number, if someone in the USA had the same....well that would not do....they like to keep track of us all. *smile*

Yeah, tomorrow we're going to apply to the Department of Justice. I guess there is some mistake or some thing like that in their bases. But the mistake must be recent, for I was on the list just a few weeks ago, I also voted in winter when we were electing president. So, I can prove that I exist:D -

This happened to my father once. He came to vote and someone had used his name and all. Now everyone has to show personal ID. -

It's simple darlings. "They" made a big number of fake IDs, and gave them some random id numbers. My number by chance appeared in one of them. When they were making the lists of voters, they were following the alphabet, so that guy was before me and they wrote down his name, when they found my name, the saw that it had the same name and... "canceled" it.
But it's nothing. We've called in the inistery of justice and they say I'll just need to take my photo, my old ID and go there, and they will give me a new ID.
I'm not too sorry, because I hated the photo I had in that old ID:))) Oh, and it feels kinda weird that I'm not considered as a citizen of this country anymore, or any other country on earth... I'm an alien:)))

Well at least you get a better photo in and after you get the new ID you will be considered a citizen of your county and a part of the world. But that was not a pleasant blunder.
