If you've ever spent any amount of time reading me you know that I occasionally have terribly random thoughts that pass through my head. You might also know that I'm a fan of animation (not just japanese anime, but US stuff as well) it bought me to a few questions.
I've always thought that in general this country has progressed from more conservative to more liberal as time has progressed. We've freed the slaves (liberal *also Republican*), we've desegregated our schools. These are imporant issues that everybody seems to agree on.
We've also done other things. Playboy started us down a road where pornography is allowed. Video games can be as violent as they want and become more so everyday, which leads me to Disney.
Alice in Wonderland: We have a blatantly drunken mouse (and probably Hatter and Hare). We have a catipilar who is high and SMOKING WEED.
Pinochio: Underaged drinking and smoking.
Dumbo: Drinking
Today in cartoons its difficult to even get an innuendo passed the censors. What in the nine hells yappen?
