Through the tears the writing continues
The lyrics keep flowing through the pain and strife
Often they get bitter, broken or lost
Too many words, not enough ink
my pen breaks too often I can't keep up
The words won't stop flowing even as I sleep
The desire to put them on paper erases the need for sleep
Two hours a night, three minutes a day the words won't stop
The lyrics keep flowing, the poems, the scripts, the blogs
Can someone make the words stop as the manic mind flows
the moon grows and the mind drops bombs in my eyes as the blow open
exploding into the lyrical rhythms flowing onto the paper.
