  I didn't take it personally. I know it's true. At least at times. And I know I often cry screaming blue blazes at others for behaving stupidly. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and wonder where some people's brains are. But then I do something stupid and I know, yup, I am an idiot too.

  Yesterday, I went to make a right turn into a shopping center when I realized it was marked one way, exit only.  I stopped in time, but the person coming in the other direction let loose with a barrage of expletives.  I just shrugged my shoulders and feigned lack of interest, but it took me a while to get over it and I was annoyed with myself for not being able to shake it off a little easier.
   
  Yeah - sometimes, I am an idiot, but it's a human trait.  No harm, no foul - wonder what made the soccer mom in the SUV so damned worked up?

  Biggest problem is that we all just want to be loved.  Unfortunately, many of us, me included, want approval from everyone - and therefore become upset if someone - even a total stranger calls us a name - When I was in school, a homeless man asked me for the time.  I don't wear a watch, so I politely told him that I didn't have the time (rather than just walk away).  He called me a "stupid C U Next Tuesday" and punched me in the jaw (glancing blow) but what hurt me most was not the punch, but that someone could call me that.  Silly eh?

  FG, that's unbelievable. I think I would have yelled at him, "I have no f**king watch you stupid f**king bum. You want me to beat that in your f**king head?" I am a gentle soul and a peaceful one. But I can snap when bent suddenly. Your story makes me feel like that anyway.
