I think to a certain extent it does actually say something about the person.
My collegue is a writer and naturally very observant in general...so it was interesting to hear his commentry on each person's drink choice and whether he considered it to fit with their persona or not...
The bubbly, optimistic, laugh-alot manager was sipping on an effervescent champagne.
The tough, sporty collegue had a strong grip on a beer.
The writer himself had a reflective goblet of red wine, half full.
The smarmy media presenter guy held a scotch and soda as he discussed his new slick car with a bunch of girls near our table.
And then me...well I was apparently expected to have a tall cool glass of reisling at the ready...
but alas, much to my writer collegue's dismay...I had opted for beer tonight ...well, we can't be too predictable now can we~

My drink of choice is Kahlua and Milk (or Kahlua and Cream, depending on where I am as some bars don't serve it with Milk). So I wonder what that says about me. If I am drinking with friends (drinking games and such anyways), I usually opt for tequila-straight, or mixed with soda. -

I'm also a writer and just like your friend, I am very observant on people and their lifestyle. As to drinks, yeah I usually go for the red wine but I love the twist of margarita!!!!! -

This reminds me of high school drama class where one guy would always ask questions like, "If you were a car, what would you be?" Or "If you were a piece of furniture, what would you be?" Depending on my taste buds I can go for beer, wine (red or white), fruity fizzy coolers, liqueres, cocktails, or just a cola. What would your colleague say? I haven't found my self yet perhaps? -

I usually choose the strongest cocktail in the house :) What does that say bout me? A raging alcoholic? LoL...maybe on some levels. But I don't think I am though...What would your friend think? I'm curious...
