I think to a certain extent it does actually say something about the person.
My collegue is a writer and naturally very observant in general...so it was interesting to hear his commentry on each person's drink choice and whether he considered it to fit with their persona or not...
The bubbly, optimistic, laugh-alot manager was sipping on an effervescent champagne.
The tough, sporty collegue had a strong grip on a beer.
The writer himself had a reflective goblet of red wine, half full.
The smarmy media presenter guy held a scotch and soda as he discussed his new slick car with a bunch of girls near our table.
And then me...well I was apparently expected to have a tall cool glass of reisling at the ready...
but alas, much to my writer collegue's dismay...I had opted for beer tonight ...well, we can't be too predictable now can we~
