The Da Vinci Code, which generates popular interest in speculation concerning the Holly Grail is really great Novel in human history (at least in my opinion). In religious point of view it may be criticized but for people who are ready to accept reason, it is really thought-promoting work and we should admit that Dan Brown has done great for all of us of all religious background. The novel signals that we should stop and think before we are totally immersed in religious principles. Any way I raise this topic here because I am interested in the work and I want to see others reaction to it.

If you want to read something similar on this same topic, I recommend [i]Holy Blood, Holy Grail[/i], by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln. It was written back in the 80s and stirred up quite a controversy back then. It covers the much of the same concepts -- Bloodline of Christ, Priory of Sion, Templars, Grail, Sauniere, Rennes-le-Château, Cathars & The Albigensian Crusade, and so on. Oh, and this book is non-fiction, so there's much more historical context. You do have to take everything with a grain of salt, of course, since it's highly speculative, but still a good read. -

yea, Dan Brown tried to tell us that all religions are the principles of human beings. God or Alah or what ever are Fictious things. We do know little about what will be going on after death. So leave on this earth accordingly -

Simply, the answer is NO! It doesn't jibe with the rudimentary doctrines of Jesus or even our own sense of morality. Who can condemn a newborn baby for sin? Who can say Adam condemned us all by sinning? It's a crazy concept!... read entire post
