If you find that your most frustrating task of the day is making time for a healthy meal.
You can get a better handle on your cooking dilemma by putting a little extra thought into menu planning. Make as long a list as you possibly can of all the meals you know how to make or would like to learn how to make, from spaghetti to meatloaf to barbecued ribs.
 
Mix up the meal types (don’t make chicken two days in a row) and then schedule them out on a calendar. If you cook every night, choose seven meals a week, or if you eat out a couple times a week, plan for only five. Then, post this meal plan on your refrigerator where it’s in plain view.
 
 On your shopping day, pick up all the ingredients you’ll need for the week ahead. Then, when you come home on Monday night after a busy day, everything you need to make a healthy meal will be ready and waiting for you, saving you at least an hour at the grocery store and another hour griping about how there’s nothing to eat.
