It always amazes me that people believe that rich people are both infinitely greedy and yet in one hundred percent agreement with each other in support of long term goals.  Most conspiracies piss me off because there are too many working parts to be real.  9/11 was an inside job with a controlled demolition.  The Build-a-Bear Group has picked every leader in the West since the end of the second World War.

My favorites are the ones that involve greed.  That there is a cure for cancer and for AIDS but the pharmacuticals woudl rather keep you alive and sick than cure.  And all of them have agreed never to share the secret.  That they've figured out cold fusion but Big Oil is keeping it from being realased.

You want to argue that maybe they aren't spending their money on something they don't think will make them more money.  Ok that's not insane, but to claim that all these things have been accomplished and nobody knows (but you) is stupid beyond belief.

This has been a (relatively polite) funeral for the living.  Catch22, you and your ilk are retards.

I read an article from an Objectivist website that was talking about the difference between Christian altruism and the benefits we receive from the free market.

At least I think it was from this website. Anyway the point was made that Mother Theresa spends her life tending to thousands of sick people - a great thing, mind you - and is respected, written about, maybe someday she will become Saint Theresa.

But the people who develop and manufacture refrigerators that keep hundreds of millions of people around the world fed every single day - who are they? Who remembers their names?

Some people have this rediculous sense of entitlement when it comes to goods and services being distributed to the populace. There's this endless yap about greedy companies but no thanks whatsoever for the unbelievable products that have lengthened life, keep us warm, safe, healthy, ferry us from place to place, entertain us, you name it, they provide it. And they come out with newer versions of these products every single year.

Some people actually think that government can provide these products cheaper or free!!!

And speaking of greedy, what is it that gives folks the sense that just because one American citizen happens to have more this or that than another who maybe even isn't a citizen, that the first person "owes" something to the second? And no matter how much that first person pays, it's never enough, it's always a raw deal, that person is a greedy scumbag and by gum we have to elect someone who's gonna get him to cough up more money!

    ARRRGH!

I agree with all of what you just said, though it's really a separate debate from wether or not these people are keeping the world the way it is for MORE money for them all.  And all of them are loyal enough to the others that nobody has said screw you guys I'm gonna become a trillionare!

I agree that citizens dont know as much as they think they do...we all are very blind to what the government is up too...

i remember a debate once about shareing the wealth of  a country equaly between its population and the idea was all would be able to become financialy sound by their own effort from then on.the reality is within a very short period of time the power and wealth would be firmly in the hands of the ones who  orignaly had it .

man, the lunacy about the 9/11 conspiracy theorists in particular pisses me off.

what'd catch22 say that triggered this outburst?

That the pharmacuticals  have cured most diseases but there is no money in a cure so they haven't released it.  And people keep showing up to tell him that they agree of course there is an electric car out there, but George Bush makes too much on oil to let it come out.

I'm waiting for them to claim that the same weather machine that sent Katrina to New Orleans is what sent the quake to China so we can offer them aid to get our national debt back.  Actually that wouldn't be a bad plan.

The best conspiracies are kept simple. Less to go wrong that way.

I love this - "hudreds of people on 20 blog sites agree with me".

    conspiracy.com, fuckbigpharma.com, bushisanasshole.com, bushisameanie.com, greedybastards.com, revjeremiahwright.com, cia911conspiracy.com,

All populated with the same crackheads who want someone else to pay for what they think they're entitled to.

Yes indeed, that's credibility for you.

The feeling is given here that "CURMUD" is really Sean,or his twin!
  • curmudgeon said on May 15, 2008....
I assure you that Sean and I are two completely different people.

I highly doubt that Sean would create an alter ego to argue with himself and post neo-Christian musings just for the fun of it.

Perhaps Lucky is a clone of the anonymous retard who has been attempting to insult me on my blog for the last couple of weeks...

Hundreds might agree with you but the facts and common sense don't.

Greed is the inturpration that is put there by your own standard you impose on others.

    blue.

Hundres is still a relatively low number.  I'm only contrary with idiots.  If either you can explain any sensible way how this consipiracy could work I'd love to hear it.  I mean these guys are all so greedy that they would sacrfice all us middle class, but they are 100% loyal to each other?  I mean you are aware that a working, a truly working Electric car would instantly make the creator of it the richest man on earth, so why wouldn't he say fuck these guys who are holding e down?  I know I would.

Also I'm not Cur, shit there is plenty of documented debate between us if the two.  Truth is that if the two of us are in agreement it's proof the other side is filled with complete idiots with absolutely no leg to stand on, cus the two of us usually disagree o wether the sky is blue or cyan with cream colored interuptions.

I'm not contrary simply to contrary, infact I'm very consistent in my views going back up to two years.  You two are just consistently stupid, and often so stupid that there is no reason to enter a debate, it's much more efficient to break it into terms you can understand.

    u r dum.
