Yep. I've been here exactly 3 weeks today, and have comitted myself to posting at least one or two(but usually more) stories per day.
It seems the more you write - the better, as over time you get a cumlative effect of income.
For example, I may make this post today, but not really see much adsense revenue directly from it for a week or so. By this time, I've forgotten about it, because it's so far down the soulcast list that no one will ever find it.
But then, what we all forget is that by this time, google has come along and indexed. What happens then is very interesting. From google, you'll get a small trickle of people coming to your blog(usually who aren't members, so wont comment or interact), but who are very interested in the topic, and so will read your post. These people are the ones who click on the ads and generate income on old topics long after you've started.
Which is why it takes most of us who are starting to see promising figures appearing, around two to three weeks of solid daily writing.
If things carry on improving at the same rate they are now, I'm going to be a very happy guy.
Has anyone else seen the same kind of trend with their adsense income?

meggs - it's just comething that comes along with time. Every week or two google will crawl through soulcast and stick every page into it's index, so that when someone searched on a topic you have written about, a link to your page will come up somewhere in google's results. secretlife - thanks for the support. shall reciprocate. ;) -

It all adds up to popularity and getting featured, I found out one thing, the day my post got featured in top page of soulcast, that day I got the maximun clicks... and all the existing popular ppl only keep getting featured because their friends keep commenting and they keep coming on the top page with no place for new comers. Honestly, I think it is unfair, I post the best content here, in terms of new knowledge,any person who reads ant of my posts can see it for himself or herself. I sincerely think that soulcast should randomly feature posts, and not keep popularity as the only criteria. -

One could really starve if dependent on this, but hey, this is just blogging for fun and friendship. That is more important than adsense - nonsense? Well if any income, helps pay for electricity lo. Earning through Adsense is about multiple streams of income. Don't rely just on one source of Adsense income, generate many. Blogs, websites etc.
Just one of my little websites for example produces over $100 a month and once set up requires little work.
The one factor which influences your earnings most of all is how much original and unique content you are providing for your readers.
Traffic plus content equals adsense earnings.
