It seems to be one of the negatives of this kind of partial democracy that we have, that you get a lot of politicians who are full of it. Maybe the ideal form of government is when one really good person is in charge all by himself, but the problem with that is obvious. So instead we have all these people who are full of it. Politicians are like lawyers, with absolutely no respect for truth, just trying to get over. It's the nature of the job, and it's also the level of decency in our world.

lfbno7: I agree with you, following politicians can be absolutely disheartening and depressing.  We want to believe these people when they say they have our nation and its people in their best interest; however, the moment we fall for it, stories like this arise.  Billary obviously had a really rough landing in Bosnia, and she didn't even mention her U-Boat experience the day before on U-571.  Now Barack, he's evidently been sleeping the past 20 years during his Pastor's sermons.  I mean come on!

silverwhisper: LOL!  I know, I could stop laughing after this one.  I saw a Bush video, with Will Farrell playing Bush, that was funny; however, that was only funny because it was playing off of the stereotype of Bush being stupid.  I don't actually agree with the politics behind the sketch, but I don't take life too seriously and found it funny anyway.  Perhaps in order to be "Fair and Balanced" I will post that one too; however, this one was a no-brainer because it's not based on a stereotype, but on an actual Fact, The Clinton's Are Natural Born Liars.

well, i'm not crazy about the "natural born [noun]" construction, but that's neither here nor there. and yeah, it's awfully darned funny.

i'd be curious to hear more about your opinions re: politics, actually.

Silverwhisper, the "natural born liars" bit was a play on Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers."  Anyway, I am sure political revelation will occur at some point in the near future.  ;^)  This is a wicked election year.  Much to blog about!  Talk to you soon.

What I just love about this is that Hillary can blatantly lie about this sniper episode and the Democrats still support her.

Well I guess coming from the wife of the man who "did not have sex with that women" it's to be expected.

Next thing you know Chelsea will be telling us about how she tried to save Buddy from being hit by a car.

Tell me about it.  Billary are two peas in a pod.  The tell truths and lies in pairs:

    Truth: "I smoked pot..."
Lie: "...twice, but I didn't inhale"

    Truth: "I landed in Bosnia..."
    Lie: "...under sniper fire."

curm: i should point out that clinton actually stated "i did not have sexual relations with that woman". legally, sexual relations was already defined as intercourse specifically, so strictly speaking, it wasn't a lie, it was an evasion. and it was also deceptive as hell.
