My Mama Had 3 Sons

She sure did, and we are Kansas grown.  All three graduated, educated, served in the military. Married, all but myself raised a family, kids doing well, No complaints here.
 
Now, it shouldn't have turned out that way, because we were onry cusses, and I know between the three of us, we are responsible for mama's white hair before she passed, but of course she was almost 87 at the time.
 
We had our mama and grandma to thank for the way we turned out. Our daddy died when we were all quite young, and grandma moved in to help take care of us  Mama drove an old laundry truck making a living for us all.
 
Here's to you mama, and grandma. Happy Mother's Day! Gone but not forgotten! Forever in our hearts!

    skald..... I was married, but my wife passed away. We had no children. My brothers have children and they are all doing well. Thanks.

    blue.....  I'm not religious, but I do believe in a hereafter, and I always tell her Happy Mother's Day, and before she passed, we all said it to her mom and Great-Grandma. So, we still do even now. Thanks.

    I remember all the stories you all use to tell, and your mama would just smile, I don't think she minded one bit. She sure loved her boys. ( guess I should say loves, because we all believe she lives on )

    No problem skald. I worded it strange,  Both my wife and I had careers and was busy with her family, she was mom to her brother and sisters and helped with nieces and nephews, our home was always full.
