  The cavity filled. I actually had a few cavities filled without anesthetic. It wasn't that bad. But they weren't very deep.

  The cut, actually I've done that. I can remember my mum holding me down while our elderly doctor threaded the needle at the window, then stitched my ear lobe back together........... I was eight and scared to death.

  Batty ~ lord have mercy! I had a cat attack me when i was carrying my son. I had several stitches, some were for putting my ear lobe back together too. Wow. Thanks again.

  I've had several cavities filled, and one of them was really deep and nasty. And it was OH SO PAINFUL! I still remember the pain like hitting in the deep of my brain!!! The only thing that caused me to shut up was the fact that the dentist was pregnant and I saw that she had begun worrying. I haven't tried stitching myself though, but I think I could handle that more easily.

  Quna ~ i've always hated dentists, it is all painful for me. My tough skin can handle pain so much easier then my teeth.
