It was already 11.00pm. It does not matter if it is stated in the employement agreement that official working hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm. I am still at work.

My boss is well aware that I am still at work. He just sent me a message on my MSN asking me not to work too late. Crime rate have increased drastically in my area past few weeks. Recently, a woman got mugged and rapped at the carpark.

I would mistaken it as a show of concern until I received the next message asking me to update the proposal and fill in the timeline and make sure the client gets it first thing tomorrow morning.

Is it possible not to work late when it is already 11.30pm; when you need me to complete your work by today. Does he knows what he is saying? Probably not. Bosses like mine, do not need to make sense or have any common sense for that matter.
