I love a good political fight. This has been a baffling election year so far. I've teeter-tottered and spun around so many times it's starting to look like I could be presuaded to vote for just about anyone regardless of race, gender or age.
And while everyone else seems sick to death of it, I want the Hillary-Obama Battle to go on! McCain will be a formidable opponent. This call for "unity" is baloney, all the political unity in the universe isn't going to stop McCain from finding the weaknesses of his eventual enemy (he thinks in military terms).
I've got a line for Hillary to use that just might bring the final delegates around to her, and let's remember that NONE of these Democrat delegates are obligated to vote for either candidate when the vote is actually taken at the convention. These primaries are all show business in the Democrat Party.
Here's what Hillary has to say if she's going to hang on and win:
I'll tell you why I'm still here, and why I haven't been willing to throw in the towel.
This election year has resulted in offering up two of the greatest presidential candidates that I have ever known. Both are strong, honorable men who have won the admiration of our nation across all party lines.
Senator McCain is a true American hero, a real patriot whose courage has been tested at every level and prevailed against powerful odds. He represents the very best of our past.
Senator Obama is a charismatic leader with amazing organizational skills who has overcome tremendous obstacles to form a fantastic vision of tomorrow. He represents the very best hope for the future.
But this is today. This is the generation that must deal with today's world. And no one knows today's realities better than me. I represent the best chance America has right now.
Now let's go forward and face today's challenge.
If the campaign decides to use this, I want credit and a speech writing job.
