Is this a sensitive topic? Haha. I know that for some people, age is a sensitive matter. But the reason why I'm asking is to know more about you. So that I will know which topics interest you. I'm kinda hesitant to write just about everything that's going on in my mind lest some of you might get disinterested, or worse, offended.

So, how old are you, really? And what interests you the most?

age is just a number, but what interest people quite matter though :) refer to soulcast, the most tagged topic here is "life", so, i guess you can write a novel here and there'll be a good reader as well

I turned 26 on my last birthday. couple of months back, if you want my birthday, then try searching for it, I have mentioned it in one of the blogs relating to it.... ( I love mysteries and could not resist putting it there..tee heee) Dear Durian, feel free, this is a community, even if you are not popular, there are people likeminded and as Like attracts like, they will come to you naturally.

I am 23 years old. I am fairly open-minded and have a curious nature. I tend towards mysticism, religion, life, love, sex, and marriage, as well as other topics of the like.

Just quick question, but why would offending other bother you? I understand that there is a nacent community here, but...in trying to please everyone all the time, wouldn't you end up causing yourself unnecessary anguish? Soon to be 32 and life interests me.

13 going on to 90. Somewhere in between. I hate still looking like a kid.

While I was on holiday a teenager remarked on my age. She said I looked in my twenties which left me laughing hysterically. She then repeated her comment and said that I looked far too cool to be any older than that despite my assertions that she was out by more than a decade. I left feeling very happy.

Anyone that clicks on my profile will know that I am twenty-nine. I am freaking out about turning thirty--even though most people do not think I look my age. A few weeks ago, someone commented that they thought I was twenty, and was geniunely surprised that I am my age--so I don't know why I let it bother me. I think the only reason it does is b/c I am not satisfied with what I have accomplished in my life thus far. BTW, how old are YOU? Also, if you are worried about looking deranged or some such, you need to read some of the other posts a little further. There were some short stories I found when I first came to SoulCast that left me (as a mother anyway) more than a little disturbed. But playing the devil's advocate, I must also say this: if they don't like it, then they don't f*cking need to read it, huh? No one is going to hold a gun to their head. I have written on topics some might think to be rather crass. I just put a disclaimer in my description. The ones that don't want to read that sort of thing won't...And for those who do like it--well, you are kind of giving them a head's up, so they will be more likely to click. Just a theory, but curiosity is a very human (as well as feline) trait--wouldn't you expect that it might apply to your blog, as well. Write what you want. If you are afraid of offending someone, warn them in advance.

Haha... This entity has lived 26 years, 7 months and 20 days of this present incarnation. It can pass for more or less 19 years however *nyuknyuknyuk*. Its cosmic age is as yet undiscovered. *lol*
  • hotaka said on Aug 12, 2006....
I am 35 and still passionate about nature, geology, and climbing mountains. Travel to foreign countries with my girlfriend also fits in there. LayaMaria, are you suggesting your entity is younger than it looks? I wonder what your cosmic age would have to say about that. ;)
  • LayaMaria said on Aug 12, 2006....
Hotaka: would you believe teenagers still ask for my cellphone number because, they say, I "look 18"? *slaps forehead*
  • Weird_World said on Aug 12, 2006....
LayaMaria, I know the feeling... Heck teenagers, trying to pick you up is like the worst feeling in your life... The kids check you out... Guys your own age, think you are a kid... I have cried enough (o.k., almost), now I have come to terms with this miserable condition.... I have to give proof of age on trains, because people dont believe that I am as old as written, when I get my ticket done, the damned agent doesnt believe me... We will live, I guess... Adious S
  • hotaka said on Aug 12, 2006....
I get hit on by grandmothers. :(
  • LayaMaria said on Aug 12, 2006....
Hotaka: *eyes bugging out, mouth open* what? WW: think of it this way: by the time our contemporaries look old, we will still look younger than our actual age. *lol* I want to "mature gracefully" but it seems I don't even have the faintest idea how to do it. *looks around worriedly* My clients won't believe I'm old enough to be what I am. Maybe I should take my professor's advice and try to look older. *sob*

It's a common thing here in Japan. I spoke to an American here the other week. He was asked for his phone number. I think the older ladies here know we are not going to be interested in anything other than chit chat so they pour on the compliments. "Oh, you are so young and charming." "My, what big beautiful eyes you have." Then they link arms with you and want to sing Enka (Japanese style easylistening - not so easy to listen too) with you or ask you to sit with them while they offer you food.
  • Weird_World said on Aug 12, 2006....
LayaMaria, I care a damn, I end up looking more like a weirdo, than 24... Seriously I already have 6 ear-holes, planning to get a tattoo, and my hair is coloured... The time I used to get pissed with guys, was the time when the wrong age used to hit on me... Now I am care a damn... I dig guys with long hair...., So whats the big deal, by looking like *different*.... whatever... I gotta go... Adious S

Thanks for all your responses! Jade, I'm turning 28 in a few days. ;) Btw, I'm not here to please everybody. I just wanted to know my limitations. Trivia: I can be REALLY bad. Haha.

I am 22... and they say I look like as if I'm only 16. Most people don't believe that I am actually working for this company, they thought that I am only and On-the-Job-Trainee --> well, I am a regular employee here. Haha!

i'm a 24-year-old woman with the whims of a baby (eat, slip), the face of a 9-year-old girl (i know a 9-year-old who somehow looks like me), the heart of a teenager (i'm still stuck to my past), the plans of a thirty-year-old, and a brain just fit for my age....
