You have to know that God is present in order to experience God being present.
If you look at a flower and know that God is there, you will see God there. Otherwise, you will see nothing more than a flower; you may even see a weed.
If you look into the eyes of another and know that God is there, you will see God there. Otherwise, you will see nothing more than another human being. You may even see a villain.
If you look into your own eyes in a mirror and know that God is there, you will see God there. Otherwise, you will see nothing more than a person trying to figure out who’s there. You may even see a person who does not have the answer to that question.
As you believe, so will it be done to you.

I kindly disagree. There is no reason for a flower to become a weed in my eyes because I refuse to acknowledge a single, consious power in this world called God by most people. I believe everything is connected, and I have a deep morality based on what I choose is the right thing to do, but I respectfully do not believe a word of the Bible, or what most people's definition of God is. This fact makes nothing less beautiful or less meaningful in my life. -

What is that line from the Gnostic Gospels, that was in that film with the priest's rosary that are brought from Brazil to NYC and one of the Arquette actresses starts channelling his translation... Anyway, it escapes me, but I think the words begin with the ominpresence of the Lord, "Turn over every stone and I AM there...." Everything in this World is so sacred. -
