Ok, fellow SoulCasters, the rules are that is has to be 30 minutes long, but it could be any genre. After much thinking, I found one show that stood above the rest...
For me it was the Wonder Years. Great story/writing, great to watch when you were young.
How about you guys?

jeez...hard to say. there's some great classics (e.g., [i]i love lucy[/i] still makes me laugh when i see it--the mrs is a big fan). by contrast, there's the glorious and brilliant, if too-short-lived [i]firefly[/i] from just a few years ago. and very few shows ever captured relationships half as well as i felt [i]mad about you[/i] did, the paul reiser/helen hunt series. ed -

ya know, i only caught one episode of mad about you several years ago and it always stuck with me. it was the episode where helen hunt comes out of the bathroom with a roll of toilet paper and the holder to put it on, to demonstrate to her husband how easy it is to change the roll when you leave the bathroom. i don't know if i described that well, but does anyone else recall this episode? classic. and why can't men ever change the roll of TP??? :) -
